We didn't stay here, but we ate at the restaurant 2 days in a row. The view is great, the food is really delicious - especially chicken burgers, they are fantastic! Food was way better than in surrounding restaurants.

This review is only for the restaurant, Petra Sky Terrace. It was amazing!! We were staying down the street but came here twice during our time in Petra because it was soooo good. The buffet was delicious with tons of options and everything was so fantastic. The room and the view are lovely as well. The staff were so friendly and wonderful, especially Chef Ra’ed, Ra’ed Hasan, and Iman. They were so kind and hospitable. Thank you so much!

We were supposed to stay for two nights. The the Jordanian government announced a lockdown and all flights in and out of Jordan had been cancelled for the foreseeable future due to Coronavirus. Every single hotel and company in the world has now a Coronavirus cancellation policy and they offer full refunds for cancellations due to this issue. this hotel however consistently lied to us when we tried to cancel our reservation, which was through booking.com, saying first that there was nothing they could do, and when we told them that we contacted Booking.com and they told us that it was up to the hotel to refund the reservation, they started making excuses and changing their story each time we called. They also lied by saying that Booking.com never contacted them to refund our reservation, which was not true as we got a message from Booking.com saying that the property refused to refund us. Given the current global situation it's absolutely shameful that certain places take advantage of a global epidemic to make a profit. This place deserves close down and no one should stay there.

The hotel is in a good position, not too far from the archeological site. The rooms are new and clean. The breakfast is good but there is not a wide choice. The WiFi in free in the lounge and in the restaurant but if you want it in your room you have to pay an extra! Unbelievable!

I recently spent two delightful nights at the Petra Boutique Hotel. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. But what impressed me the most was the warmth and friendliness of the staff --everyone from the receptionists to the young men who helped with my luggage to the servers at the restaurant to the lovely young woman who cleaned my room. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful.
