The rooms are basic with comfy beds and hot showers. Beware-lots of stairs at this hotel. The breakfast is fine; consistent with any other budget hotel in Jordan. I like that the beds had a wall next to them away from window so easy to sleep in a bit. The proximity to Petra is excellent.

Helpful people at the hotel who bring the suitcase al the way up. Small rooms with no tv or telephone. It was very basic but good enough. 300 meters walk from Petra so that was great. You can take a breakfast at 6:00. It was a very dissapointing breakfast but for € 31 you cant say much. We slept very...

I'm not sure if we booked at a busy time, but we paid 53 JD's (towards £50) a night for a double room for three nights. At that rate I expected a little better, as the room was basic with new but very cheap furniture, and a very basic, old and roughly finished bathroom. The smell of kerrosene early morning...

Petra Sun Set is good value, considering it is on the main tourist street in Petra, a 5 minute comfortable walk to the archaeological site and with nice comfortable rooms. The hotel would have seen better days, but the staff had been friendly. Who would guess that the hotel would offer a 5.30AM breakfast? This was a pleasant surprise, given...

I booked this hotel on the basis that ALL rooms have air.con as it clearly states in their website. When we arrived we were given rooms with a fan and then told that it would be another 30JD for an air.con room (nearly double the cost not a few dollars more as another reviewer states). We also booked two double...

After a hiccup at another hotel we checked in here. We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms for a few nights and was extremely pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the room. I did get a peek into the older rooms that were just a few dollars less per night. Unless you're on a super tight budget it's better...

We stayed one night in Sunset Petra. It's a very good option for those who need a place to crash after a long day hiking in the stunning Petra. Very well located (7 minutes walking from the entrance of the park and right on the main street, where the restaurants and stores are), comfy and with free internet. We payed...

We loved this really friendly hotel and extended our stay here to 4 nights from 2 because it was so good ...and Bilal (one of the owners) and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome. It has great facilities, is only a 5 minute walk from the Petra entrance gate and is right next to good places...

The rooms are spacious and clean.Small bathroom with clean nice towels every day. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Owner and staff speak english and arab and they are always kind to attend any request. Staff takes care of your luggage when needed. Breakfast with vegetables, a glass of juice, eggs, bread, tea or coffee and natural yogurt was really more...

The location is excellent, walking distance to restaurants, shops, and entrance to Petra. But the quality of the hotel is very low. This is barely above a backpackers hostel quality. There is no elevator from the street, so they solve the problem of carrying the bags up stairs by paying this young guy to carry them for you, which made...
