While the location is conveniently close to Petra, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere for accommodation in Wadi Musa. I was here in January, when the weather is quite cold, and the hotel staff would not turn on the hot water in the evening, having spent all day at Petra and quite dirty. I'm not sure if they pretended not...

We booked and paid 2 nights on Venus Hotel via agoda for a double room with private bathroom and breakfast included. We sent an e-mail to agoda and they confirm us that Venus Hotel received and confirmed our reservation. The location is the only good thing, but you must be prepared for a steep climb after a entire day walking...

Best thing is the location, close to the entrance to Petra. Booking.com offered La Maison for a few $s more, but no breakfast. So we chose the Venus. No one could tell us where breakfast was. So we went without. IT smells like cigarettes throughout. Limited English spoken here. Next day, the manager let us know breakfast is on the...

The location is really the best. Near the entrance to the Petra (it's very huge when you are coming back to the hotel after all these stairs in Petra :)) Price is fair. Breakfast is well (indonesian cuisine :))))))) This hotel is not for that people who prefer lush life, there were troubles with hot water (the problem was solved...

Like most reviews about this place, It's for people on a tight budget. It's the cheapest place that is 100m from the entrance. Movenpick and Crowne Plaza are pretty close but pricey. The only thing is, to get to this place, you must conquer this steep road. Let me tell you, it's alot of work after walking for hours. If...

We moved to the Venus from the Movenpick because we felt like we were wasting money at the Movenpick. The Hotel Venus is right next to the Movenpick with possibly a better view. The Venus is a no frills place but not a bad deal if you are on a budget (Movenpick was $150US, Venus was $45US). The rooms were...

I stayed at this hotel with a group on an Intrepid Tour. Yes, it was very run down and the rooms were tatty but we had a bit of a laugh about it - especially when one of our group had a toilet overflow which created a huge waterfall down the stairs! The staff were friendly enough and kindly let...

We were on a tour with a small group and were booked into this hotel by the agent last month. What a disaster. A small poky entrance, broken furniture stacked nearby, unfriendly staff. When we got to the rooms, the situation didn't improve. Some of us found used linen, used soap, and our toilet didn't flush. The agent refused to...
