for the quality is overpriced.... Don;t mind staying in such standard , but damn, clean the place at least! dusty all over, dirty, drawers with rubbish, behind cabinets more rubbish, dont sit on chairs, check it first, as ...no comment. You must be prepared for this if you do not want to get disappointed. Or accept all as it is,...

We stopped here and saw other groups here as well, so the guides must be compensated to stop here. All that aside, I would come back on my own the food and service was that good. The best food I had in Jordan! The staff was very attentive and bent over backwards to attend to our groups' needs

Stayed here as part of a G-adventure tour group. Given the previous reviews on this hotel, let's clarify a couple of points: This place is really old with basic amenities. Pros: Great location close to Petra visitor entrance, hot water, white clean bed linen, friendly staff, best hotel hair dryer I've ever used! Cons: Old, old, old! Holes in ceiling,...

Pros: Location, meal, and personnel Super oasis after spending the whole days on your feet, so might be booked only because of location. As for meal, I will download pics I made. Lovely food, thanks. I found people in Jordan very hospitable and attentive. It's not fake like in many touristic areas. So in this hotel staff is also dedicated...

The Silk Road is a basic hotel. Very clean with nice staff. Free Wi-Fi, good air con. Breakfast was very basic, but filling, as there were not many visitors to the hotel being winter. The strip with restaurants and the entrance to Petra are a short walk away. No need for a cab. There is a restaurant separate from the...

Went to this hotel for a meal after visiting Petra, it was a buffet style meal and the drinks were extra, the choice of food was good and it tasted good. Well worth a visit for the food. We were taken by the tour guides so we didn't have a choice where to eat.

Reasonably priced hotel close to the Petra visitor centre and the start of the schlep through the canyon to the beautiful site of Petra. Our room was painted a mad lilac colour and some rooms are a bit dark and dingy so you should try to get a road -facing room to enjoy the view and the light. 10JD for...
