This was undoubtedly the best hotel of our entire trip (15 days in Jordan and Israel). The hotel has a new and elegant look, with attention to detail as well; our room was impeccable, as was the bathroom. We visited this hotel as part of a package tour, for two nights with half board (this explains why I can't say anything about the costs). The breakfasts and dinners were also appreciable. The location is also convenient, just a few tens of meters from the entrance to Petra. Hot water in the rooms isn't present all day, but only a few hours in the morning and in the evening. But, being informed, this is not a serious problem.

A very nice, clean and reasonably priced hotel in Wadi Musa, which is ideally situated a stone’s throw from the entrance to Petra.
Decent breakfast included, although sadly only instant coffee. They can provide you with a packed lunch for your day in Petra if you ask at reception which was very convenient if a little overpriced.

We stayed at Petra Silk Road Hotel for 2 night with my family of three. The location is convenient near to the Petra visitor center , from the hotel will takes (2min) to walk. The staff and the manager are well mannered and very accommodated. Their room is tidy ,clean linens & bed sheets and of course was surprising me is their spacious - big bedroom.
This place is suitable for a couple , solo, family and big groups. Also the rate of this hotel is very affordable for budget travelers, that is why i undoubted to recommend it and we have an Excellent Experience with them. Thank you so much!

We had booked a quadruple room and without warning us, they gave us a room with a window that looked directly onto a dark wall, with the noise of the air conditioners. When I told them about the problem, they told me they were fully booked that night but would move us the next day. I think they should have informed beforehand about the lack of light and ventilation in the room, so as not to incur any unpleasant surprises. For the rest the hotel is ok, the staff are friendly and the location is excellent for reaching the visitors center in 5 minutes

The best part about the hotel is its location. It's 5 minute's walk to the petra visitor centre. About 7-8 minutes from the petra cave bar. This itself is a big enough reason to prefer the hotel. Specially once you are tired after a day long hike inside petra, you would always appreciate a short walk back to this hotel, which we did. We had a very simple room, overlooking nothing. The other rooms in the hotel might have a view but we were given a room just beside a dumping ground. All the staffs in the reception were nice, helpful though they are not exactly proficient in English. But that would really not be a hinderance. You will get your work done. The breakfast was included in the package and they were of average quality and choices. For the price they charge, i would recommend it for those who want to save little extra bucks for luxurious accomodation in wadi rum or dead sea. Petra is one place where i would suggest everyone not to splurge on accomodation as you will mostly be outside hiking. But if you are looking for a basic standard of luxury, skip this place and choose movenpick which is even nearer to petra visitor centre but which will come at double the costs if not more.

Very nice hotel, ideally located less than 10 minutes from the entrance to the Petra Site. Huge room, cleanliness and impeccable bedding. Large bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast consists of traditional dishes. The hotel houses an Amman Sauna on floor -2 in which you can forget the fatigue of long walks in Petra. Thank you again for the welcome and attention you gave me during my stay.

One of the best hotels in Petra. It is close to the visitor center, a two-minute walk away. And its employees all enjoy Jordanian hospitality. As for the facilities, they are very clean and excellent service. I recommend it to everyone... The most important thing is that the prices are very excellent compared to the service they provide.

The hotel is very well located, 5 minutes from the entrance to the Petra site. The room is spacious with good bedding, air conditioning, TV, fridge. Everything to feel really comfortable. The hotel is very well maintained. Possibility of dinner but that is not their strong point. Quite generous buffet for breakfast. The staff is attentive, very friendly, gives good advice and is always available. Possibility of drinking beer but no bar.

Nice staff. Looked ok in pictures, reality is different. Dated lobby, rooms. Couldn’t get wifi in room unless standing at the door. Breakfast included, however, we were only able to eat the bread and cheese. Walking distance to Petra entrance.

What I suggest here is to ask always the prices before to order!!! We spent 80$ for 1 shisha and 5 teas....really really far from the local average prices. Not honest to take joke of people that support local economy!
