Wow…the best hotel I’ve ever stayed (within the budget I had) It was amazing. On arrival I was told by Abed that the minibar and Jacuzzi was free of charge, my room was magnificent (and cleaned every morning whilst I ate breakfast which incidentally was spot on) Rafet was a wonder of information and every morning (whether I wanted it or not a packed lunch was handed to me for the day…free!) It was situated perfectly in Wadi Muso in so much as the center was only a few hundred yards away and Petra a 15 minute walk away (downhill!!) get a taxi to return unless you love hiking up a 1 in 4!! Which brings me to the people and taxi’s. You will find a hassle free experience in Wadi Muso and you will do yourself no harm in contacting Ali (I’ll post his card) Not only is he more than reasonable in his pricing but he’s a wealth of knowledge, He drove me to the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and back to Amman airport..with every journey taking me the scenic route and describing what I was seeing…he didn’t have to…we’d already agreed prices from A-B and back…he’s a gem.

I can't praise the staff at P Quattro highly enough: everyone we dealt with here was friendly and helpful.
Abed at the front desk however deserves a special mention, as he immediately made us feel incredibly welcome, upgrading our room and giving us an impromptu tour of all the hotel's spa facilities. He went on to answer all our many queries and arrange everything possible to enhance our stay, including transport within Wadi Musa, complementary packed lunches for our visit to Petra, and excellent recommendations for a restaurant nearby and Turkish baths in the town.
The special welcome we enjoyed would be enough in itself to take us back, but the hotel itself was also very nice - the rooms we saw were spacious, comfortable and very clean, with good views over Wadi Musa and the surrounding mountains. There is now a new, bigger swimming pool, in addition to the one on the roof terrace, as well as a Jacuzzi, sauna and salt room, all very clean and well maintained. Finally there is a good range of breakfast on offer, including an egg station for those of us who like to start the day with a couple of freshly fried eggs.
All in all, P Quattro is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Petra.

Average hotel. Assigned by Memphis Tours to us in the category we chose. However, that being said: Rooms avg size. Bathrooms small; showers even smaller. Service below average. This should be a three star hotel. “Free breakfast” was flat out disappointing. Below par coffee and juice, mediocre food quality, and poor service. And a surprising lack of attentiveness. I had to throw out my croissant after taking one bite—-seemed stale. I asked for a two egg omelette and instead got runny scrambled eggs —— which I took back to them and did not eat. Their stove might have stopped working. I think they sensed I was not too happy and gave us send away brunch bags for the onward trip, as we checked out. A little better service at the hotel, was what we needed. Overall rank is 2-3 stars. I would not stay here again. I think perhaps the Marriott here may be best if yur looking for comfort and service. More $ perhaps, but if you are staying more than 2-3 days here, might be worth it. For the one night we spent here, P Quattro was adequate. I think I’ll skip the brunch bags they gave us——or maybe just eat the apples…. on the road to Wadi Rum. P.S. ———— The rooms in our tent city at Wadi Rum, were smaller but with larger bathrooms and generally better service and food. And that was in the middle of the desert!!!

For others looking at this question - Zihabag is probably correct with a mile - but importantly the hotel is at a significantly higher point than the Petra entrance - walking to Petra is certainly easy (we did this), but walking back on a hot day would be tiresome. There's lot's of taxis available to run between but these are quick to charge tourists-rates (JD 5 - common).
