...and definitely the best in Huaraz region! We visited the lodge on our stop-over in Huaraz region, to discover the Cordillera blanca national parc. The lodge is the perfect place for doing this: numerous day trecks and Charlie and his team (inc. the Alpacas) are fabulous hosts and guides! All in one, perfect accomodation, food and hiking, sureounded by beautiful... More

Ive lived in Peru all my life and travelled all over my country. This trip, my stay at this hotel and the treks they offer: the best experience Ive had in Peru. Everyone is so lovely, so kind. I honestly wanted to take everyone home. And the place is just... Out of a dream. Can't really find the right words... More

My son and I stayed here last October after stopping in Huaraz to do some day treks in the Cordillera Blanca. We were "winging" this portion of our visit to Peru, so our we didn't realize how inconvenient it was to day trek Huascaran Park until we after we had settled in a hotel in Huaraz. After a little more... More

Just down from the mountains and wanted to make sure praise is given where it is deserved. My wife and I and a friend had an amazing time at LML. We spent 6d/5n at the lodge in both the matrimonial and family rooms. Everything about our stay--the food, the staff, the location, the lodge itself--was totally on point and exceeded... More

Staying at LLM was the highlight of our time in Peru. If you appreciate peace, quiet and beautiful scenery this is where you go. As you research LLM you'll realized that it is hard to get to the lodge. That is a good thing. When you get there you will appreciate the solitude. You will be rewarded for your efforts,... More

I did not know completely what to expect...but LLM exceeded expectations. The grandeur of the view was incredible. The hospitality of Chris and Stephanie made the adventure truly special. Charlie was on his own vacation, but we were very well taken care of. Chris and Stephanie really showed concern to make sure we adapted to the altitude well. They accommodated... More

Our family spent 4 wonderful nights staying at Llanganuco in May 2015. Of course the scenery is stunning in this part of the world so we understood why Charlie fell in love with this place. During our stay we experienced the Ice of Huandoy, Llanganuco lakes and the truly magnificent Lake 69. Our excursion to the Huascarán National Park was... More

We had an amazing two day stay at the Llanganuco Mountain Lodge in May 2016. Not only is the lodge right in the heart of the Huascarán National Park, making it the perfect location for trekking in the area; but the service we received at the lodge made it feel like a home away from home. We sadly did not... More

My boyfriend & I spent two days at LML in April 2016. Charlie was very communicative about all of our arrangements prior to our arrival, and even sent us a pamphlet of info on the local hikes so that we could prep for the trip. They also arranged all of our transportation between the airport, lodge, and trail head for... More

My husband and I came to this lodge after doing the Inca trail hike. We desperately needed a little comfort and we found it here. From the hot water showers to the flushable toilet paper and the comfortable, warm beds, we felt soothed. Not to mention that the food was fantastic. There are lots of great hikes to be done...
