If you want to hike in the mountains of Peru, there is no better place. It's right on top of the Huascaran National Park and you can literally walk to many of the hikes. My parents and I are so glad we stayed here instead of 1+ hours away at the next nearest hotel. The price is right, the location... More

We have stayed 4 nights at the llanganuco Mountain Lodge last week, and we found it was very difficult to leave on our last day... The scenery and the tranquility are so amazing that it is almost heart breaking to leave it behind. We loved LML due to the following reasons: 1. Amazing location, with the Hauscaran and Haundoy glacier... More

Staying at LML was so special. I spent 6 days at the lodge as a solo traveler. Charlie, Chris and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I arranged for my room and transportation to the lodge ahead of time via email and had no issues. I was greeting by my driver at the bus station upon... More

From the moment we reached out (prior to booking) with questions about the surrounding area and how to budget our time there, we were greeted with pleasant and helpful advice - not the sort of automated response you might get from a large-scale chain hotel. We went back and forth with (I believe) the owner, Charlie, via email to make... More

I traveled with a friend of mine and we spent days in Cusco, Machupiccu and Lima before coming here, and I have to say this was the highlight of the trip. The lodge is in the most incredible landscape / setting. The rooms are comfortable; the other families staying at the lodge during our stay were incredibly interesting and sweet;... More

I really enjoyed my stay in Llanganuco Mountain Lodge! The place is awesome and the people that work there is really friendly and nice! They make you feel like home! I'm vegetarian and they made me special food, which was really really good. I also truly loved that the lodge is environmentally friendly. I do care for the environment, and... More

...and definitely the best in Huaraz region! We visited the lodge on our stop-over in Huaraz region, to discover the Cordillera blanca national parc. The lodge is the perfect place for doing this: numerous day trecks and Charlie and his team (inc. the Alpacas) are fabulous hosts and guides! All in one, perfect accomodation, food and hiking, sureounded by beautiful... More

Ive lived in Peru all my life and travelled all over my country. This trip, my stay at this hotel and the treks they offer: the best experience Ive had in Peru. Everyone is so lovely, so kind. I honestly wanted to take everyone home. And the place is just... Out of a dream. Can't really find the right words... More

My son and I stayed here last October after stopping in Huaraz to do some day treks in the Cordillera Blanca. We were "winging" this portion of our visit to Peru, so our we didn't realize how inconvenient it was to day trek Huascaran Park until we after we had settled in a hotel in Huaraz. After a little more... More

Just down from the mountains and wanted to make sure praise is given where it is deserved. My wife and I and a friend had an amazing time at LML. We spent 6d/5n at the lodge in both the matrimonial and family rooms. Everything about our stay--the food, the staff, the location, the lodge itself--was totally on point and exceeded... More
