We stayed in a room with private bathroom and double bed. The room is nice and big with a comfortable and a lot of blankets. Our trip was in december and luckily the room had (gas)heating. The common areas inside and outside and communal dinners are a great way to meet other travellers. The food was delicious and among the best we had in Jordan. The staff go out of their way to help you and are friendly from early in the morning till night. They can arrange guided hikes (we really enjoyed our 3 hour hike with guide and freshly prepared lunch), onward transportation and laundry. I have really fond memories of the days we spend in Dana Tower Hotel!
Where can I start... the views from the hotel are breathtaking, very good location. The food was amazing especially dinner, such a tasty variety probably one of the best in Jordan in terms of food. The rooms are basic but had everything we need and are really comfortable. Our tour guide Ahmad is really friendly and has 10 years of experience in the trails he took us to. 10/10 would 100% recommend.
We didn’t spend the night here, but met Salem in the village and he invited us for a night under the stars. He was an amazing host, took us to a really nice place, no people, made nice tea, shisha, and sang for us. We had a great time! He asked 30 JOD for this. In Wadi Rum you would get things like this for free. But we didn’t stay at his hotel so I understand that he had to charge something. Overall a nice experience and Salem really made us feel welcome, since the host of our hotel didn’t help us that well
We really liked our stay in Dana tower hotel. The people are very friendly and nice. Also the view from the rooftop is amazing and you can watch a beautiful sunset in the canyon. The diner we had was the best in Jordan. They offer a home cooked buffet which was really nice. We slept here for 2 nights. The beds are a bit crooked but at least you sleep in a warm hotel and not a cold tent. We liked how they styled the hotel in a local theme. The owner is very nice and likes to tell you stories about the bedoeien and his father who made up most of the hike trails in Dana.
Amazing experience in Dana. The food for breakfast and dinner was very good. Very good recommendations for hiking, very good food and a very nice driver that drove us to wadi Ghuwier and waited for us at the end of the canyon.
