Stunning views of the canyon from the hotel rooms as well as the dining area. Very romantic place to watch the sunset from. Dinner was excellent, one of our favorites from our stay in Jordan. Perfect location for hiking Wadi Dana or Wadi Ghweir and would definitely stay here again.
Great location and clean comfortable accommodation. Better to stay here in spring/early summer as no air conditioning. There was dinner available every evening for 7 JOD which was tasty and good. Breakfast is good and varied. Plenty to do and see.
The view makes the place, thanks to a glorious location overlooking the valley. From our room balcony (and even from our shower!!!) we could enjoy spectacular views and watch abundant birdlife. Luxury rooms are not really luxury: they are big, clean and have private bathrooms, but they are old and tired. We stayed for two nights and the room wasn’t cleaned after the first night. I found the rate of 100 JD per night for a double room definitely overpriced. I guess you pay for the view and the lack of facilities in the area. Hopefully part of the money will go for the conservation of the reserve. The included breakfast was Jordanian style, food was good with plenty of choices. If you go on any of the trails starting from Rummana Campsite you are required to pay an extra fee of 10 JD per person (other than the entrance fee and conservation fee which are included in the room rate).…
Rooms have the best view I think I have experienced from a hotel: Looking at the valley with no disturbing man made objects! Rooms are big, nice and well furnished. Bathroom is nice, and if you draw the curtain away, you have the most amazing view from the shower. Restaurant is good, but remember to check the time for breakfast noted on the whiteboard. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Fantastic location: all rooms have a view over the stunning Wadi Fenian, that you can hike to reach Fenian Eco Lodge with a local guide (which I highly recommend) and they will move your luggage while you do that. Do not get room nr 2, which is close to an annoying neon light which lights up at night and can disturb sleep. The bathrooms are shared, but we were lucky as there were few guests when we slept there. Food is simple but tasty. If you have planned a hike the following day, remember to organise water and packed lunch before leaving (asking at reception for indications on where to get that the night before the trip) so as not to waste time on the departure day, as it is best to leave early in the morning to avoid the full heat.
The Dana Guesthouse far exceeded my expectations. The welcome was warm, and the room was large, comfortable, and had the most spectacular views. The food was exceptionally good. For dinner, 10 separate dishes were brought to me, and all were delicious. The accommodation was rated as “simple”, but I would give it five stars.
We stayed for one night before the trek down the hill to Feynan. As others have said the views make the place, the rooms are OK, a little tired but have everything you need, including heating for the cool nights. We managed to sit out on the balcony before sunset (which was spectacular on the canyon), but its wasn't comfortable later. I wasn't very impressed with the quality of the food - especially when compared to Ajloun which is bigger - also a limited choice especially at breakfast. Staff were OK, especially the lady in the reserve shop. Highly recommend staying, an experience not to be missed.
We had a nice, big, clean room in the guest house that overlooked an amazing view. The food we had for breakfast and dinner was also very tasty and catered to us especially! We felt so welcomed, everyone is so friendly and kind. As it was our honeymoon they even decorated the room wtih balloons and petals, this was such a nice touch that made the stay even more special.
Dana Guest House is in a remarkable location with spectacular views of Jordan’s Rift Valley. Our room was very comfortable and the shower had views to die for. The staff were lovely, especially Ali, and the food was good if basic. Our daughter enjoyed the nature shop!
All the staff, and in particular, Ali, are friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting is glorious and blends harmoniously with the cliffs. The rooms are very generously sized, with attractive, simple furniture in a chic village vernacular. The balcony is a marvelous spot for watching the abundant birdlife. The gentle breeze and lower temperatures make for relaxing walks.
