No info actually tells you where it is, but it has a sign on route 40 from Amman next to the air base and shortly before the Azraq traffic lights. A location by the wetlands may have been better - I was woken up twice by jet fighters taking off. The hotel and rooms are industrial, although pleasant. Bathrooms are...

I stayed at the Azraq Lodge with a group of traveling companions as part of a charity trip with a local organization. I was completely blown away by how comfortable and lovely the hotel was. The breakfast every morning was delicious and tastefully laid out. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent shower pressure and hot water. The A/C worked...

This is a nice and very stylish lodge, it's an art work of Ammar Khammash. The room was very nice and very comforting , the food was good too, when I told the chef I am vegetarian she made me special dishes, I wish the breakfast was richer but it's not a five stars hotel. The staff were very nice...

Having visited the caravanserai/fort, the frescoed hunting lodge/bath and the black basalt castle (with the amazing stone doors) on the road to Azrak (all really worth a visit and very different from the fortresses we had seen in Karak, for example), our final aim was to visit the nature reserve in what were the wetlands - now tragically mostly dried...

We stopped over for lunch during a visit to the Azraq reserve and absolutely loved it. The place is charming and clean and food fantastic. The only downside is the pricing policy of the national park for the night stay, we think this great lodge would attract way more visitors if they could drop the over night price from currently...

Azraq Lodge really is an oasis in the desert. The town of Al Azraq itself has not much to commend it other than the magnificent Azraq Nature Reserve. Although the reserve is a fraction of its former size, it is well worth the trip, and really leaves you thinking about your water usage for the rest of your trip in...

Azraq lodge is I think the best option if you want to stay in or around Azraq and if you want to visit the (small) wetlands and some of the desert castles in one day, without too much of a hurry. But the best in the neighbourhood doesn't mean that it is very good. The rooms are very spacious and...

We stayed two nights at the Azraq Lodge, which is an old British field hospital and has had several other functions. It has been tastefully renovated and is in keeping with its former use. The rooms are large and airy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room facilities also kept to the theme of the hotel i.e. room furniture...

The Azraq hotel is small but clean and comfortable. The food is good and the staff excellent. There is a military base be hid the lodge so you must be careful not to photograph in that direction. Best hotel in the area

This lodge was a British army field hospital built in the 1940's. After extensive renovation by the RSCN retaining some period features it is a great place to stay. Rooms are basic but perfectly adequate, with good hot showers. The evening meal was four courses, with a good salad range to start. Staff were very nice and helpful. Packed lunches...
