We visit Bansko in Summer, looking for a cool weather, jumping to the mountains of Bulgaria seems to be an effective solution for the heat in our country. So we came to Kempinski Hotel, and we found a very fancy hotel, huge rooms, extra ordinary Spa, a very friendly crew, and Super Breakfast. what you can ask for more, well the location is best for Jumping with Cable car (Gondola) to the mountains and Doing Treks long ones or short ones. The Hotel has also massage facilities (Thai massage) but the price was a high for me And the Gym salon is open 24 hours.

Booked by friends. They reserved the only adapted/accessible room. I got bumped. Full of apologies the hotel upgraded me to the presidential suite. So big I could get lost between door and bedroom. The explanation was it gave space for my wheelchair. It did that. But no grab rails, shower seat and support bars made the shower a hazard for me.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We came to pamper ourselves so it did not bother us that many shops were closed for the summer. The room was wonderful and had everything you need. We took one with the Mountain View which was lovely. Just be aware it’s above the swimming pool with lots of kids so a bit noisy, and in the evening the smell of food. House keeping could be improved. Our cups and glasses were not replaced on a daily bases which I would expect from this hotel chain, neither our towels. We used the saunas daily (one of the reasons we choose this hotel) they are okay, clean and well maintained. Only thing that the other guests used their mobile phones for loud conversations and watching videos! Our requests to please go outside were just ignored. On the entrance to the spa there is a sign ‘no mobile phones’ but nobody checks so ... this was very annoying. Most staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the man who checked us in and out and the hostess in the breakfast room. Also a pretty blond and intelligent waitress who worked in the bar who spoke very good English. Some were arrogant and condescending.

Kempinski Bansko offers a high level of service, facilities and experience. Rooms are well decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in main restaurant is really good with lots of choice. Come Prima restaurant offers high quality food and service. Prices are higher compare to the restaurants in town of Bansko but quality is amazing. Sometime they offer promotional packages with breakfast and dinner on reasonable price.
