We stayed here during one of the most testing times in living memory as we were staying during the start of the corona-virus outbreak. Our week was obviously effected by the outbreak so I can't go into too much detail about Bansko itself however what I can say is how amazing the chalet, food and service is plus I can tell you that our hosts Matt & Ellie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. In such a crisis you could literally not hope for better people and our group will always be eternally grateful for that. The chalet is fantastic... stunning rooms, loads of space, loads of bathrooms, games room, dry room and a brilliant large garden with hot tub. The food was also incredible with great variation and brilliant options for our pescatarians in the group too. Location is good, walking distance to everything and two shops around the corner plus there is the option of lifts to the gondola whenever you need as well. Hire equipment from Matt & Ellie's own shop was great... very impressed with this as most of it was new and much higher level than used to from typical rental shops in the Alps. Overall everything to do with the chalet was fantastic and we have already held again for next year!

We stayed in one of Matt and Ellie's chalets and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, the ski gear we rented was high quality and they went out of their way to make it a fun and easy trip for us. 100% recommend them!

We stayed at chalet Isabella for a week in a large group of 18 with 9 children for a weeks skiing. Matt and Elie were the perfect hosts making our stay very relaxed and hassle free. They arranged everything for us from lift passes, nannies, to a bus up the mountain to avoid the gondola queue to ski lessons. The chalet was a great size, lots of toilets to share and ensuites for the adults. The food was delicious and they did a separate meal time and food for the kids which was ideal for younger more fussier eaters. Bankso provided a great location for our kids to start to ski and we have had a wonderful week. I can't recommend Chalet Isabella more and will certainly try and get back there in the future.

Matt and Ellie are incredible and will do anything to make your holiday exactly what you want it to be. From booking to return flights they look after you! Their team in Chalet Isabella cook the most incredible meals. The kids meals and cakes were perfect for tired skiers and the adults suppers were TASTY!!! They drop you off and pick you up at the times that suit you and at various locations to make sure you miss any gondola queues or save any tired kiddies. Their ski equipment is new and good quality, their knowledge of the town and slopes is brilliant. The hot tub is ace, the enclosed garden is ideal. I won't book with anyone else when I return to Bankso.

Had the most amazing week at Chalet Orbelus with a group of 13 friends. Our hosts Tommy and Tatty were so lovely and went out of their way to cater for our (difficult) dietary requirements - two gluten free and one intolerant to onion and garlic. I'm a coeliac and the idea of a catered holiday is stressful because you never know what to expect. But they went above and beyond. They always had a gluten free version of everything - they baked us a new cake every single day, and dinner was a full 3 course meal - always with an amazing gluten free version! The food was delicious. Matt, Ellie and Steve were fantastic hosts - always going out of their way to help us out. There isn't anything they've not thought of. They were so helpful with local tips and also with our ski hire gear. A couple of people wanted to change from boarding to skis through the week and they were more than happy to accommodate. One of our group got up the slopes and realised she'd forgotten her lift pass and Ellie came and dropped it off for her! The chalet itself is clean and comfortable, with a big sauna and spa bath included. The price is amazing for what you get as well. Will definitely come back!
