Detailed Reviews
We stayed two nights in the 7 pools hotel. The staff was friendly, the food was decent, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and spacious, but the absolute highlight was the pools. The outdoor pools were still closed as it was still quite cold in April, but that still left us plenty of pools inside.
There's a sauna in the dressing rooms that is free for use. The only pity on the pool area is that the other saunas come with a extra charge for hotel guests (only 10 lev, but enough of a barrier to say "let's jump in the sauna for 10 minutes")
But, all in all, a very pleasant stay in bansko.

We visited the hotel as a family for two nights. We are extremely disappointed. This is the first time we visit a hotel whose SPA AREA DOESN'T WORK!
All those pictures from the spa area shown here turned out to be a mirage for us. Of the 7 pools that the hotel is obviously proud of, only the children's pool and one large indoor pool were working, which had cool water, suitable only for sports swimming, and had black stuff at the bottom. We had to call a staff member to light the creature in the pool area.
The only jacuzzi, which holds a maximum of 4 people, was not working properly and we had to call the lifeguard every 10 minutes to turn it on.
There were only two working saunas in the women's and men's locker rooms.
Most of the guests who visited the pitiful pool area were disappointed. A hotel that has the name SPA in its title cannot not offer this service. After we asked why this was the case, we were told that it would only work after December 20th.
So whoever plans to go there before December 20 should keep that in mind.
The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly. The restaurant is not heated and it is cold. We will not visit again. I do not recommend.

We moved here from Lucky Bansko having decided to stay and extra weekend until the end of the season but them not having availability. Obviously the two are not comparable but this is a really good value, 3* apartment complex and we were more than happy for the price we paid.
This is a really good choice for people wanting more room than a hotel or to self-cater. We had a lovely clean apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony with great views. The staff are very friendly, good restaurant on site, supermarkets and Pirin Street in easy walking distance. There is a boot room and shuttle to the gondola- must haves for skiing' and a good pool and spa centre. It is a very 'easy' place to stay and would totally recommend it for those looking for an apartment amongst the many on offer in Bansko.

After a lot of research I booked a 2 bed maisonette apartment at 7 Pools Hotel for a (5 pax) family skiing trip. I have to say it was very difficult choosing our accommodation. Bansko has a lot of hotels and the reviews are very mixed. Because of this I was worried about my choice. The reviews here aren’t great but having seen the overall score on Booking I decided to take the plunge. I have not regretted it for a second and i can only say to anyone thinking of booking here that they should go for it.
7 Pools was everything we wanted. I’d say well above a 3 star rating. The facilities are modern and well thought out. Our apartment had 2 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are spacious, have ample storage for clothing, a flatscreen tv, easy to use safe and large and very comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms even had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. The bathrooms are modern, have plenty of towel rails including heated, pegs etc (ie lots of places for towels and toiletries, unlike other places where you can never find enough space for everyone’s stuff) free bathrobes, some shower gel and plenty of nice, fluffy towels. The showers are modern and great and our bathroom had a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror and a full length mirror as well as your standard of ver sink mirror.
The kitchen is really well equipped, we didn’t cook there because we were only there for 5 nights and wanted to try local food in the evening but if we had stayed longer it would have been ideal. Has everything you need.
We had to use the sofa bed for my son and he found it very comfortable. The only issue is that the downstairs space was a bit of a squeeze with the sofa bed out but for us it wasn’t an issue as we were too tired from skiing all day.
The whole place was spotless and our apartment got cleaned daily. The whole hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was good with a variety of cooked and cold foods. I didn’t get to try everything but I really looked forward to it every day. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening when we were too tired to go out. The food was very tasty, home cooking style, and we had lovely and very friendly service.
The spa is wonderful. The main pool is fantastic and the rest is really good too. We went everyday after skiing and it was so nice and easy to go downstairs in our robes and enjoy the facilities. The only thing is that the hotbeds didn’t seem to be on but everything else was working fine and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The hotel provides a shuttle to the gondola and there is storage space for your skis. We didn’t use either because we enjoyed our morning walk to the ski hire shop where we left the skis each day but it seemed really well thought out like everything else at 7 Pools.
I was sad to leave and would definitely go there again. If you’re thinking of booking but the reviews are making you doubt I’d say go for it because it’s perfect, you get your money’s worth and you will be made to feel at home by the genuine and kind staff. We certainly hope to return!

I will never recommend that place! It is absolutely awful! Very bad landscape! Very dirty rooms and very rude manager! Awful kid playground! Not responding to the pictures in Internet ! Very small rooms, not responding to the square meters written in website!
Only at the reception the lady is very nice - poor her where she works!!!
When I have claimed the room is dirty, the manager Olga told me to leave the hotel! I show her the dirtiness in the room and she told me: “This is absolutely normal, I don’t see nothing dirty here. You can leave the hotel!”

We made a reservation through Booking.com in January 2019 for the New Years period of 2019-2020. So we did it way before even the plain tickets from London to Sofia were launched. The price was good and a family of our friends joined us as well. We registered a credit card which we were using multiple times abroad and which was packed with money. It all seemed to be OK and we were confident of our trip. Later on, we bought plain tickets to Sofia (9 persons). Come October, the fun begun! The hotel started rejecting our credit cards one by one. Both families registered different credit cards and they kept being rejected. Finally, our booking was cancelled from hotel's side. I phoned Booking.com but they could not do much about it. Then I personally phoned hotel's manager. He kept claiming that there was a notice from United Bulgarian bank that there was some problems with the latest credit card and therefore they cancelled the booking. I told him that that was a nonsense because we used the card two weeks ago in the UK and Dubai and it was full of money too. I offered him to register yet another credit card but he refused saying that we can make a reservation only with the new prices which were about 2.5 times higher than the price we booked the hotel at initially. That was a spit to customers' face. The hotel is hunting for money in very unfair ways and the manager is a good liar too. So, if you would like to book a hotel well in advance and get charged more than twice the amount when the time of your stay is approaching - this is the right place! My honest recommendation is to avoid this hotel before you get spat in your face!

We had a booking with another family in this hotel. We booked 2 apartments for New Years and a few months before our trip they cancelled it! This is absolutely infuriating! As we started to look for other hotels most of them were all sold out or the prices were extremely high and that's the reason why I believe they cancelled it is because they saw a way to take advantage!! Keep in mind that the cancellation happened months after the booking was made. Booking.com said our credit card has been rejected, although our bank said it was not. When we called the hotel they asked for a double price!!! Unbelievable things people do to make more money!!!
They also replied to the review previously written by our friends who made the other booking. They asked her to be a 'decent' person and remove it as we apparently never had a reservation. Yes,we did. We had 2 reservations made thru Booking.com and yet you should be the last ones to write about being a decent person. Terrible management in this hotel!

These people have never had a reservation at 7 Pulse Spa & Apartments. We will try to find the data of the person who writes this false information. If Trip Advisor continues to allow false information to be posted we will leave the site. It will be very useful for all parties if Trip Advisor only allows guests who have really booked into hotels to publish reviews on the site. Booking.com for example allows the writing of reviews only to the guests who have had a reservation.

We booked our holiday a few months ago, we bought our flight tickets and everything was sorted. Just before our stay they cancelled our booking and demanded a payment THREE times higher than our original booking... Stay away from this hotel and their horrible money-making techniques.

Very good hotel. 10 min slow walk to ski gondola and they have a free shuttle and a very helpful driver. Very close to main road with restaurants and supermarket.
The hotel is brand new. Room (we took the on bedroom apartment) is very big and specious . The have a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dish washer and a washing machine (whice is very helpful during family vacations).
2 indoor pools, big and hot jacuzzi and sauna (didn't have a chance to see what they have outside).
Good breakfast. They even gave us food for the road as we checked out in the middle of the night.
Its very recommended.
