We're pleased to announce that this season we'll be working with Carbon Footprint to make all our chalets carbon neutral, give us a shout if you're interested to know more! The flamboyant Chalet Prince is large, private and based right in the middle of Bansko. The generous subterranean Mehana (traditional Bulgarian tavern) serves as our dining room and a perfect place for after or pre-dinner games! With comfortable spacious rooms and a selection of spa facilities which will ensure the body will be fully refreshed and rested for your weeks skiing. To make things even better, wine and beer is unlimited during meal times, and you can always count on there being a bottle of the famous local Rakia for the more adventurous types. What's more, children under 2 go free and those under 15 can enjoy a 25% discount on the adult price. We run Chalet Diana-Ross as an Eco-chalet, which means that everything you eat is home cooked and responsibly sourced. We buy from local producers at the market each week, collect wild herbs for chai, make our own home-made jams, pickles and chutneys. This allows us to provide an exciting 3 course evening meals which are complementary to your stay. We locally source all of our produce and use fresh, seasonal, organic ingredients where we can. We really believe that a great meal can only come from great produce. A hearty, comprehensive breakfast is served every morning, with our homemade freshly baked bread, a daily hot option, all the porridge you can eat and all the usual things you would expect, to set you up for another day on the mountain.

As a mixed ability group of adults & children skiers we found our Snomad Chalet Prince experience (from booking to departing) to be warm, welcoming, organised, relaxed, friendly, with the most amazing evening meals! Our hosts Dan, Haley & Mike - got up extra extra early to get us to the lifts @ 7am to beat the half term queues- we really appreciated this & it made a big difference to our 1/2 term skiing experience -THANKYOU! The rooms were all warm, ensuite & a very good size. The honesty bar was great - although the hosts did stress they were very happy for us to bring outside drinks etc in. We felt that the ski school linked to Snomads, was very poor and we found much better teaching elsewhere after 2 days. (This may have been accentuated by the fact it was Feb 1/2 term). Don't miss out on the thermal baths- a lovely end of the day / week. Thankyou all @ Snomads in resort & the office (Ewan) - we are booked again see you 2020 for more early starts !

During our stay it felt like great attention to detail had been paid to the experience. The food (dinner especially) was incredible - a 3 course meal every night. The chalet was kept very tidy. Our hosts Dan and Hayley were very attentive and took great care of us - really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My only criticism is that it felt like there were quite a lot of rules which were enforced quite rigidly. Eg. Hot tub only on between 3-7 and max 2 people at once. Also breakfast only served until 9 am - it would be great if some bread/ cereal could have been left out later! Overall a cracking stay, great value for money and would definitely recommend to friends.

Absolutely LOVED staying with Snomads! My partner and I just came back from spending a week in Chalet Prince. As first-time skiers we were a little nervous about booking this trip but Ewan was really supportive and helpful throughout the booking process, always happy to answer our often stupid questions! Once we arrived our hosts Hayley and Dan were amazing, cooking us incredible food each night and really happy to accommodate our dietary requirements. The owner Maks was also really friendly and helpful, recommending some really cool less-toursity (and cheaper) places to eat. We would highly recommend staying with Snomads – the whole experience from booking to flying back home was so positive and stress free. We will definitely be coming back!

The snomads team took such good care of us for our whole trip to Bansko. We couldn't recommend staying with them enough. The chalet is clean, warm, cosy and charismatic. The food was beautiful and always such generous portions! The staff were so kind and generous with their time. They also gave us endless tips of what to do and cool places to visit. Plus Bansko is such a charming place, great places to eat and drink, the skiing is great and it's so cheap! We will definitely be staying with Snomads again and we would highly reccomend you do too.

Ski once a year but this was our first time in Bansko (Alps far too £££ this year). Bansko was so much cheaper, from rental to pints on the mountain we didn't have to worry about coming home to empty bank accounts. A good resort for our group of decent but not expert snowboarders. The Snomads chalet was an absolute gem, from simple very helpful booking right up to the moment we left. Excellent tasty food each evening (with plenty of good wine and beer!!). All the staff were a delight, big thanks to Hayley, Rosie, Dan and Max. Most helpful and full of local knowledge and best spots on the mountain. The chalet itself is a breath of fresh air to the usual ubiquitous bare wood alpine style you find everywhere. Highly recommend the open mineral pool trip if you visit, just what the legs need post skiing!! If we're ever in Bansko again this is the place to stay. Thanks all.
