Hotel was warm, breakfast was good with a large selection, room was offered to be cleaned every day (we even asked them not to clean some days when we were still getting ready). Bathroom was adequate, shower was powerful and always had hot water. Rooms included an oven, microwave, hob, fridge and freezer which is above what we were expecting. Two large tv’s one in the bedroom and the other in the lounge area. Mattresses were slightly on the harder side but the large comfy pillows made up for that.
The only two very very minor points I could pick up on is the staff don’t speak very good English, but you shouldn’t go abroad and expect everyone to understand you if you don’t speak their language either. The hallways smelt slightly like cigarette smoke but that’s hardly an issue when it didn’t affect the rooms.
We didn’t use the spa but peeking through it looked nice. They have a good size store room for ski’s, our balcony had a lovely view and was only a 10 minute walk to the gondola (make sure to use the shortcut through the other hotels)
Interior was nice and modern and we enjoyed our stay here overall! DEFINITELY take these bad reviews with a pinch of salt.
There’s a lot of selection at breakfast, and a microwave if its warm enough for you; the coffee isn’t the best, but its as much as you like; for the price I thought it was all very reasonable.
Someone else said the place is good but could be great – I would agree with that: All it would take is just a little bit more care and love in the room maintenance, and this place would be excellent.
After alot of planning and saving for this ski holiday and the excitement of the kids arriving to the accomdation.....for this excitement to be wiped out within a half an hour of arrival is totally unacceptable and shameful.
The apartment was unsafe with 3 sockets hanging of the walls(surely health and safety issue 🤔) a hole in the door , paint peeling of the windowsills, TV in twin bedroom broke ,kettle broke, pull out bed broke, the wall heater in the bathroom falling of the wall, the shower hose holder broken ........see pictures below .
A far cry from a 4 star rating
The food was indescribable, we couldn't distinguished between the chicken and beef , it was that cold the waitress took a microwave out of the kitchen for you to heat the food yourself 🤷♀️ as a result we had to eat out every evening which cost €1000 for the 5 nights for 5 people .
Our Rep (balkan holidays) and management where informed of the issues, while the balkan rep did try to solve the issues, the hotel management was nothing short of a disgrace , rude and unprofessional .
Please reconsider if you are thinking of booking belevdere holiday club and do yourself a huge favour and look elsewhere , there are so many more nicer accomdation available in bankso of similar prices which offer much better services, accomdation and personal touch .

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was serviced daily. Perhaps the housekeeper was a bit over zealous about towels etc!
The Reception staff this time were much friendlier and accommodating than previously.
The outside pool area is as nice as anywhere I’ve been, with very clean, clear water, a picturesque panorama and pleasant ambience. You can swim up to the pool bar which is fun. The outdoor staff were friendly and efficient.
Afternoon snacks from the restaurant were good quality and cheap.
Overall I’d recommend Belvedere. It is well located in the town of Bansko within walking distance of the town centre and very close to supermarkets and the gondola. It has magnificent views of the Pirin Mountains.A trip up in the cable car is an enjoyable visit, even in summer. Weather ranged from cool to very pleasantly warm.

No communication from hotel staff.
Walked from room to Reception in minus temperatures.
Receptionist did not take it seriously and suggested that someone was either smoking or cooking.
Other guests complained.
Please see photo of the roof of one of the buildings of the Belvedere Holiday Club which was being repaired following what appeared to have been a fire!
There is a great pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room area and although the pool is a little on the cold side it is certainly not too cold to use. You can rent an extra towel for 2 lev or a bath robe for 5 lev (both prices for the week) but if you dont want to do this you can use your own towel or the towels provided in your room, which are changed daily.
There is a very good games room , with pool tables etc... which the reception open whenever you ask. I found the reception very helpful, although some spoke less English then others they always made every effort to help.
The rooms are very well equiped with fridge freezer, hob, microwave and each room has a tv (biggest in lounge and smaller in bedrooms).
The location is very good. If you come out the back of the property (by the bar/restaurant) it takes 7 minutes to walk to the gondola but if you dont want to walk the mini bus leaves at 8:00 and then every half hour until about lunchtime. It also comes back from 2:00 in the afternoon and then hourly. We did not tend to use it to come back as it was such a short walk but noticed it was always at the car park when it was supposed to be.
I can not comment on the restaurant as we ate out but I do believe that food in the hotels is not as good as in the many local restaurents so would recommend doing that anyway.
I am not sure if some of the previous reviews have ulterior motives but I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly use it again if we return to Bansko.
If anyone has any specific questions please feel free to contact me and I will try to help.
WiFi works only in the reception/ lobby area, not in the room. And if you want to come and use it in the reception/lobby area you are asked to order something from the bar. If you bring even a bottle of water with you they tell you it's forbidden and you need to leave.
The staff is trained poorly, when you complain about something they tell you that's it and that's the rule. They aren't even in the same line with each other - one girl tells me that the Wifi is working in the room and gives me the password, the other guy tells me there is no Wifi in the room and gives me a cable, then I go back with the cable because I have a slim laptop and it's not working, another guy tells me he cannot believe me that the Wifi is not working (after I've been told by the other one that there is NO Wifi in the rooms).
Overall, it's only worth it if you rent an apartment without any meals (food really bad) and don't have anything to do with them. But then still, you don't have any internet.
