Stayed here only one night but enjoyed it a lot. Beautifully located B&B in the old quarter of town with characterful rooms (en suite). Place is run by very friendly people that made me some coffee on arrival and gave lots of useful tip. Breakfast is equally personal and friendly in the restaurant below. I would recommend this to everyone.

I would like to tell you about my experience while I spent three unforgettable nights, where you will find the service and hospitality of Albanian tradition in general and of Gjirokastra in particular. A wonderful brekfast, a perfect lunch and a comfortable sleep and relaxation that you have not ever tried.

They do the same with the tourists we have met in this hostel: the taxi driver waits for the tourists at the bus station and bring them to Kotoni hotel for a fixed price (no meter). Then when tourists ask at the "reception" for a taxi to go at the bus station, the same taxi driver comes with the taxi...

Eda was really helpful finding us a way to go to the border at a really earlier time. The room was ok for us since we only stayed one night. Breakfast was also ok. Its a two minutes walk to the bazar.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Kotoni B&B. Extremely friendly, welcoming and professional owner, beautiful city full of interesting places and sights, and culinary delights, even by the high standards Albania offers in these matters. Kotoni B&B, built in an old, respectfully renovated mansion, lies in the best part of the city, every room offering a nice view of...

This long-established accomodation was one of the first private hotels opened in the city after the end of Communist rule in the early 1990s. Our room was comfortable, air-conditioned, but a little cramped. The bathroom functioned, but one or two fittings were slightly fragile. These are not complaints, but merely observations. Our hosts were kind and friendly. Breakfast, which was...

Beware! A Google search told us this place was permanently closed. Not true! This is a 300 year old Ottoman House that provides a warm welcome, a delicious Continental breakfast Albanian style and the chance to stay in a place full of character. Our room is snug and cozy with a king size bed plus a single bed. Lots of...

Our recent stay at this over 200 year-old Ottoman mansion was very pleasant. Our room was small, but very comfortable and nicely decorated. The ceiling mounted heater kept us warm on the cool mornings. The location is great with views of the old town and the castle and is close to everything. We enjoyed our breakfast which was served in...
