Transfer from the airport to the hotel went smoothly. Funnily enough, the person picking us up held up a sign with my wife's name on it. I was lucky: my wife let me ride with her.
Spacious room with a sea view, very nice.
Enough elevators without long waits; strangely, the clocks in the elevator ran differently each time, could be related to the time change.
Buffet very good, because of the location by the sea we would have liked more fish.
Now comes the highlight: the service. We visited about 30 countries. The service with the young people is absolutely top notch: thoughtful, very charming, always friendly (smiling), helpful, remembered our preferences, thought along with us, fulfilled all (special) wishes. The hotel manager greeted and said goodbye to us.
Sometimes we didn't know which area was all inclusive. At the bar, for example, we were asked to pay several times. We couldn't find any corresponding signs.
We only found the slot for inserting the room card after a long search and asking at reception.
Foreign language skills not very advanced. However, we were able to help guests using gestures and Google Translate, which was sometimes very funny.
Room service very attentive and friendly.
Contact with guests who do not speak other languages, even without language skills, was very easy and communicative.
Because it was the off-season, there were almost no events. For example, no tours, and no city tours for tourists in Tirana.
Very heavy traffic. Waiting time for a taxi in Tirana was 90 minutes. Taxi and bus prices fluctuate greatly. Many taxis are e-taxis.
Weather in April is typically bad, cold and stormy. Storms swept umbrellas and chairs into the pool.
As a thank you for the wonderful service, we drove to Tirana and had the attached certificate drawn up there.
Transfer to the airport on the day of the return journey was problem-free.
Overall, it was a very nice trip. Minor inconveniences are negligible as complaints at a high level.

My wife and I travel from the UK to spend 5 nights from the 22nd to the 27th of February,2025, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything about the place was mind blowing. We got a bedroom with a view of the beach, with a balcony, the room was spacious, with a very big comfortable bed, spacious bathrooms, a safe for storage of valuables and an average size television with satellite tv. The bar and restaurant areas were absolutely beautiful, spacious and luxuriously designed. Immediately you step out of the bar area, there is a large outdoor sitting area, swimming pool and a close view of the beach. The service was top notch with the staff going an extra mile to make our comfort a beautiful experience. All the staff from housekeeping, reception, the restaurant were amazing. We had a dinner at the restaurant. We were served by Yusuf, and the experience was amazing. We were more than happy with the service of Yusuf. He speaks fluent English and we enjoyed the dining experience. Amelja, at the reception is another name I remembered. She and her team were so helpful and professional. She even assisted us to print our boarding pass and allowed us to check out late. I will gladly recommend this new hotel. The wifi was good, even outside the hotel, and it has a lot of free parking space. We rented a car and the parking was really helpful. I must not fail to mention the breakfast buffet. Is one of the biggest buffets I have seen with an abundant options of all kinds of food and beverages

Stayed for 4 nights kid free and with the wife, Overall a positive experience but to help others I'll list the cons. The all inclusive food was not the best however they have a payed menu that was very good, the free bar was always available and the beer was actually very nice, the wine wasn't chilled /bottled with ice available to cool the drinks. Reception was supper helpfull in finding local restaurants.. gate03 was fantastic. Next time we visit albania we will aim more south as alot of the day trips are to far. The place feels safe, bus runs 2 stops very cheaply to the main see side strip, as taxi ar expensive for tourists. ( well same price as uk )

Very nice hotel, clean rooms with balcony and very well working AC, very good food with lots od fruits and vegetables, good variety. the water is a bit muddy close to the beach, but clear, enough sunbeds and towels for everyone - for free Friendly and helpful staff. Bad thing Is, that cleaning rooms every day means changing towels even if these are absolutely clean and bringing water. There is must to take the trash from bathroom because of the toilet paper obligation and the cleaning lady didnt care. That was actually the only thing we expected and wanted from her evedy day. So we had to ask for complete cleaning inclusing sheets changing (no need at all) to make her to do it after three days :( but that is the only issue we had here and I believe that Is not standart as other services are very good. Even if we had sometimes problem with communication in english.

I had an amazing stay at Royal G Hotel! The moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the stylish lobby and friendly reception staff. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the view from balcony, which offered breathtaking views of the sea. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh pastries and a variety of healthy options.
The hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk from popular attractions and great restaurants. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Royal G Hotel to anyone visiting the area. I can’t wait to return!

Relaxed at the Royal G Hotel & Spa from 05.09. to 12.09.2024. We were given a room without a balcony, although the request was for a room with a balcony. Our requests at the front desk to change, referred to the fact that there are no rooms available with a balcony. There was nowhere to dry the bathing utensils, and since the rooms are small, this caused great inconvenience. There was virtually no Internet in the room. Very rarely, for a few minutes. Internet was only available in the hallway or downstairs in the hotel. At least in advance promised internet in the room. The food is beautiful, varied, very delicious, sea, beach, sunbeds-all wonderful. The staff is very friendly and friendly, the hotel is very clean and pleasant. But the draught was not good. We're not going there again.

Our stay at Royal-G Hotel was one of the best we have had so far in Durres.Everything was on standard, from the reception staff during check in, to cleaning ladies and the exceptional service staff. Both the girl during breakfast and the waiters were always smiling and that made us feel so good. Even the valet helped us a lot with the car. 10/10
