This place was absolutely amazing. It may be the coolest place I have ever stayed. They thought of everything and spared no expense. If you have to go to Pocahontas you should treat yourself to this place. I have spent twice as much on a boring room that had none of the extras this place has.

A beautifully created apartment. Absolutely wonderful bathroom with such invention, the most technologically advanced bathroom you could want. The huge bed was so welcoming and comfortable, and three tvs all in well appointed spots. For me the fly in the ointment was that there was no tea, and you had to take water from the bathroom, there's nowhere to get fresh water. I wonder if you could put a notice to say it's potable, ie drinking quality, water (generally bathroom water isn't), or a drum of water to make tea / coffee would work otherwise. I'm not a coffee drinker and I love a cup of tea, with milk, and for accommodation of this quality, I'd taken for granted that it would be there. And there was only enough milk for one cup of coffee. So that was a bit of a letdown. It would be nice too, to know that all the restaurants in the immediate area would be closed on a Sunday afternoon. There is another part of town across the river and it had restaurants open, but we had to drive. Overall this is a lovely place, but for the cost ( and there isn't breakfast of any type) it would be good to go that little extra and put necessities in the room

My Sister and I stayed in the Lewis de Mun Suite and was VERY impressed with everything. It was better than we could have ever expected. I have stayed in alot of places and several VRBO homes, paying twice this price and they did not have the things this suite had. The owners have thought of everything and then some !! We felt really special and pampered. And loved reading about the renovation and all the history of the building. We were here visiting family and will ONLY stay in the Lesmeister when we return. Thank you so Much !!

Quiet, plush, luxurious. Well decorated with all a person could need. Loved the heated floors, pressed tin ceiling and skylight in bath. Check in and out never easier. Will certainly be returning, Playhouse just across the street a definite bonus.

I'm so happy to hear how you enjoyed your stay at The Lesmeister! It's exactly what I was hoping for when I planned the project then saw it become a reality. When I opened it, the nearby Downtown Playhouse wasn't even dreamed of, but when the theater came to the neighborhood, I knew many people would enjoy the combination of a great show with a nearby "home away from home."

My wife and I stayed in one of the rooms at the Lesmeister Guesthouse this weekend. Our room had everything you could want, a quiet room, a "den" for watching TV with two recliners, a large shower separate from the jacuzzi tub, an apartment sized washer and dryer and even a heated toilet seat. This accommodation was beyond first class and I would highly recommend staying there.

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this apartment is, we stayed in the laurel, there are 2 apartments and 3 suites, they are renovated from old building's on the square in pocahontas. So tastefully decorated, right down to heated bathroom tiles and towel warmer, plus tv in bathroom.Everything you need right on the square, wakk across the street to bella piazza, great food, then back across the st. to the downtown playhouse to watch a fabulous production. Wonderful place to spend the weekend..Perfert for couples getaway.

We were looking for a place to stay for a friends wedding. Always enjoy finding quaint little hideaways for treating ourselves. This one will be one of our favorites. We love history and this renovation of part of the history of Pocahontas is worth the trip. Beautifully done with all the comforts you need as well as maintaining the integrity of the old. Well done!

We visited for an overnight stay,on road trip to Memphis. So impressed with everything about it. There has been a lot of care and thought in designing these rooms. Lots of extras that make it a special place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer.
