This is one of my favorite places on this earth. We started coming here in 2020 and fell in love with this place. The forest the river the fresh air. The owners are the coolest people. I would highly recommend this place to anyone especially people that like kyaking, hiking and crystal mining. 45 minutes away from historic Hot Springs.

They have wonderful, well kept grounds with plenty of space for activities. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming. We rented a canoe for a day to play on the river which was fun. We cannot think of anything that would have made our stay better. If we venture to that area again, we would definitely stay here.

We really enjoyed our visit here but what we appreciated the most is the family friendly environment. The owners are very kind and helpful and they have a beautiful and kind family as well. We are very grateful for all the support we received during our stay. We’ll definitely comeback and we recommend this place to everyone

ORH
Arranged an outstanding canoe trip for us. 2 adults and 8 kids. Fun but challenging. Great location and place to hang out after the paddling. Very grateful to the owners. Great equipment. Easy drop off. Ended right at ORH which is right on the waters edge.

This is an awesome place to stay. Owners are always friendly and helpful. We have stayed 4 years in a row and used 3 out of 4 cabins and loved them all. Close to Hot Springs and crystal mines for digging. Plan a summer trip next to take advantage of the river front at the campgrounds.

To celebrate my 60th birthday, I wanted to hike and canoe. OHR provided a great canoeing experience. We did a 7 mile trip.. the water was low in places but that didn’t stop us from having an awesome time. The owners are genuine and took great care of us. I highly recommend.

Found the campgroup by a web search and loved the area! Could not have been happier with our experience. It was not crowded at all, and the owner was super helpful and friendly. He mentioned the new management and the changes they are hoping to make. The area was clean and well kept. The view was magnificent!! The campground was well laid out. Kayaks available. We were able to relax, to swim, to fish, and to kayak without having to. leave the area. The walk from the campsite to bathrooms and shower was good and easy to follow. They were clean and well lit. We hope to go back soon and see more of his improvements! They had great advice, and even put out floats for guest and kids to enjoy the river. Close enough to a town for a grocery run or a bite to eat. Also close enough for a day trip to Hot Springs!

Maybe the most beautiful private campground in our state! The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. We stayed in the Magnolia cabin, in a super comfy King bed! Landscaping is pristine, plenty of room on site to walk and play. Trails are marked and well maintained. When the river level is up, you can float 4, 7 or 9 miles into the campground, and when they are a little lower, you can float 6 or 9 miles down river. Either route is beautiful. When the river is not right for paddling, there is a great 1 mile hike nearby up to a hill where you can find beautiful quartz crystals just sitting on the ground! Also, there are multiple, pristine lakes within a short drive for paddling or swimming. Be sure to pet the pig and alpacas! 💗
