You are very close to Tatra National Park so it is excellent starting point for the trip. The staff is great, but total quality fo the accommodation and the food in the restorant is not worth the money. The children's playground is well equiped, but old and it required some additionatel repairings. Maybe for the next trip it will be better to choose some privately owned huts between the hotel and the borders of the national park. The wifi was not working at all.

This is the perfect place for hiking in the Tatra mountains in summer or winter sports in the late fall - winter - early spring. Do not expect luxury but the hotel has everything you need, it is nice and clean with good beds.

i spent a long weekend with friends and my gold retriever in the cabin. great location in the forest, beautiful green nature, nice streams, fresh air and nice fire place for long evenings to hold the warm and sweet atmosphere. there is also hotel for accomodation with restaurant, playground for kids. reataurant is nice, great food and with helping and kind stuff. i can only recommend this place, especially the cabin, but for 4 persons only in order to enjoy it ;) have fun ;). just little recommendation for management: fridge in the cabin and dog friendly restaurant ;)

This hotel has a great deal of charm in a very quiet and scenic setting. The rooms are spacious, well fitted out, with comfortable bedding and a pleasant bathroom. Free WiFi worked well. The small spa has a great jacuzzi that uses a thermal spring. A separate mention for the sumptuous breakfast buffet. The food is very starchy and for some tastes lacking in fresh vegetables: this is the only minor complaint regarding an otherwise outstanding hotel. The grounds are well kept, with a small zoo for company and some cool outside equipment for working out. The walking trails and the snowy peak are just around the corner, as is the herd of sheep and an authentic cheese-maker. Definitely recommend a stay a Hotel Mnich! The purpose of the stay was a conference: the meeting rooms were well adapted to our gathering and came with the necessary amenities.…

Located in Western Tatras (Roháče), surrounded by quiet woods, this hotel is a perfect place for hikers as well as families with children. Clean rooms, friendly staff and decent food. There is a gym outside and children's playground.

Nice quiet hotel,very baby and children frendly with small Zoo, toys in inside, and in garden. Small hotel with kind staff. Hotel has too restaurant, sauna, gym in outside, small lake with trouts, park places for cars.

Quiet and peacful location, very friendly staff, food ok. Our family liked it because the hotel is nearby to the hiking trails, possible to play tennis, take a sauna. We enjoyed the stay at this hotel!

We stayed in this hotel a week a go on a teambuilding activities trip for 2 days. Hotel has main building and couple of cabins next to the parking place. It is surrounded by trees and you have beautiful views on the mountain of Western Tatras almost from every angle. If you are a Mountain/nature lover, you will really enjoy a stay here. Staff is extreme friendly, at night there were suited in old monks clothing (information for girls only, it seems that they have nothing under cassocks :) Breakfast was average but in the evenning there was very good slovak food including special grilled pig (special order 2 days before) perfect vine to choose from. We slept in small and simple furnished cabins. But most of the day we spent in nature so it was acceptable. Cabins are not that comfort equiped as rooms in the main building, so are more for boys/chidren companies or experienced mountain families. There are two perfect expeditions in surrounding mountain valleys, you can choose between Kvačianska and Prosecká dolina, or you can make an whole day trip with entering one and comming back with other. Hotel has very good location in countryside, with very good restaurant, decent wellness. Rooms are quite new, staff is kind and helpful. We enjoyed the stay here and recommend it for anyone but especially for couples and families.
