My daughter and I spent the last four days of our two-week adventure at La Casa Del Suizo. We booked it privately - not with a tour group. So much better that way. It started in Quito when Christian picked us up at our hotel. He told us he would be our exclusive guide for our entire visit. We drove...

everything about casa del suizo is exceptional. the rooms are beautiful, spacious, airy and have views of the rio napo. my room included a private lanai with a hammock from which i could look out across lawns bordered with exotic flowers that sloped down to the river. the staff, particularly josefa, john and juan carlos were highly knowledgeable about the...

Spent two nights here as part of a tour and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are calm and airy, with an unobstructed view of the river. The food was amazing and the chef is wonderful. Everything was incredibly peaceful and the grounds are amazing. A wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Amazon.

Awsome place. Very clean. Great pool. Right on the river. Awsome. We'll be back one day for sure. Only longer. Jungle tours, small town right outside the back gates. Only thing is make sure you know a little Spanish.

Loved staying here for 2 nights. Would love to come back and stay a week someday. Warm welcome. Beautiful facility, rooms, grounds, pool. Very open air feeling. Food is good and plentiful with many local flavors to try. Service is warm and friendly. Each room has a screened lanai with a large hammock to use. Many have at least partial...

Booked through Gate 1, stayed here only 2 nights.. Too little time here. This is by far the best experience I've ever had in my life, living inside of the Amazon Rainforest, it's my dream! At night, you can hear all different sound of nature, animals, whatever it is, just so sweet and unreal. The room itself is very simple....

The Casa del Suizo was an amazing place to stay in the Amazon. It is located right along the Napo River and every room has an incredible view with a balcony and hammock. It may seem a little pricey at first running $115 a night but all the meals are included as well as all the tours. Not included are...

I stayed here two nights on a Gate 1 trip. Additional excursions were reasonably priced. The walk through the rainforest was interesting and fun. We had to access the hotel via canoe. Luggage service was very prompt even though it had to be brought by truck. There is not much to the small town outside the property. It was amazing...

Stayed for 2 nights on a Gate1 tour. I loved the beautiful grounds, and delightful pool. We were able to take a walk through their private rainforest grounds and be educated by local tour guides which was really cool. On the up side: it feels like you're in the rain forest even though it is easy to access. On the...

First time ever experience of sleeping all night in the jungle-comfortable-open-air, This is due to that hotel room-windows has no-glass but insect nets only. The hotel has vast premises situated high on a cliff and include restaurant, buffet, Large swimming pool and spa and rooms overlooking the Napo River,a main Amazon contributor.
