The brown water ruined it for me... who wants to get into a hot tub with brown water? Ick... Not to mention the hot tub is supposed to circulate the hot water but it was coming out cold in the jets and we had to have the hot water running to keep it at a decently warm temperature. And the...

Beautiful weekend at the resort. Quiet and peaceful. The owners are very personable, friendly, and helpful. Had a lovely fire in the fireplace to relax to after a hike through the trails. We will be back

I planned a weekend get away for my boyfriend's birthday at this resort. We stayed in Cabin #5. The cabin was clean, the resort is quiet and we had an amazing view of the river from the back deck. The owners are also very friendly and we greatly appreciated the kind hospitality. We definitely plan to return here in the...

Our experience first started with our fridge not functioning properly. When we approached the owner Judy, her response was " well, give it some time and maybe a few shakes and kicks to get it going. I just plugged it in before you came." The owner was not very helpful and wanted to blow us off. After 2 hours of...

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at this lovely spot. We rented #4 cabin suite which is a side by side cottage. My first impression of the cottage was how clean and inviting it was. Even though it was a side by side, we did not encounter any noise issues with the people on the adjoining side. Our view...

We had heard a lot of good things about this romantic little resort in the heart of the Whiteshell. My partner had been there before, and had a really good experience. This visit was not as good. The cabin was small, and quaint, and we were able to keep it warm with the baseboard heaters and the wood-burning fireplace. The...

Sorry you were not as pleased with your visit with us this time as last. Glad you enjoyed the little extras we left for you. It makes it fun for us as well. Regarding the “no guest policy on weekends”: I am sorry you did not know of our policy. We have it posted on our site and we dedicate...

We spent a week in July which we booked last minute and couldn't be happier with our choice. The cabin was clean, new floors (my husband LOVED), well stocked kitchen to prepare meals, drinking water supplied, flat screen TV with satellite for those rainy days or nights. The bed was very comfy with soft sheets - we didn't even miss...

The cottage was glorious! Awaking to the sound of the falls was so very peaceful. Every amenity one would wish for, and beyond, was provided by the 'hands-on' owners. Quality bicycles, peddle boats, kayaks and canoes await those that wish to experience the beauty of the lake. If you love to fish, rent a boat for the day and clean...

I love this place! Greg the owner WOW is all I can say about him!! He is so friendly and professional and each time I spoke to him last year before our two day and one night stay, he spoke to me as if I were his lifelong friend. He has such an inviting spirit and tone over the phone...

You are actually talking about the resort on the other end of Brereton Lake... yes they are very nice people.

We stayed for a week in June in cabin 6 which overlooked the lake at the front entrance 20 metres away! We could see the River Rennie from the back deck and could hear the Inverness Falls (just out of sight) from here too! The cabin was comfortable and fitted out with everything we needed including lots of nice personal...

“For the winter, you can't beat the Lakeview cabins for their amazing view of the night sky. For the spring, summer and fall, the cabins in the trees are delightful: lots of birds, beautiful shade and you sure can't beat the view of the Falls from every cabin.”
