My husband and I booked a tour with Blanchard Springs Caverns, then we looked for accommodations. When I spoke with Carole, I knew this was our place to stay. When we arrived, we were blown away with this fantastic B&B on 68 acres. Joy greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of the home. We stayed in the Bride's room, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We also had a huge sitting/TV/game room on the second floor. Breakfast was delicious; I especially enjoyed Jerry's smoothie and his conversation when he delivered our meal. We stayed two nights and wish we had booked longer. Florida is a long way from Arkansas, but we will keep this place in mind for future trips and recommend it to others.
I spent one night at the Country Oaks Bed and Breakfast and I’m thoroughly pleased with my experience. There is nothing to complain about! I enjoyed the beautiful grounds, rocking chairs on the wrap around porch, spacious room, information provided by the hosts, and the breakfast. If you’re in the area of Mountain View, I cannot recommend this place enough!
Country Oaks Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in the Grandma’s room and it was decorated beautifully. I loved the handmade quilt that was on the bed and the other quilts throughout the house. Joy and Jerry were very sweet people, whom we really enjoyed visiting with. The breakfast was delicious, each morning we were there we had a different breakfast. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay then The Country Oaks B&B is the place for you.
My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at this B&B. Joy greeted us with a sweet smile and that set the stage for a warm stay in "Grandma's room". I loved the decor and felt like I had step back in time to my Grandma's house. The room was so comfortable, plenty of room to relax. Breakfast was amazing. Jerry's homemade smoothies at breakfast was great. Then a serving of fruit and then on to the main course which both days was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We hope to go back very soon.
This place has everything. Close to town, but set off the road on 80 acres so it is quiet and peaceful. Big rooms, wonderfully furnished. Very gracious hosts; great breakfasts. Walking trails.. beautiful in the mornings. AND a huge well-stocked pond where I caught and released many fish including the biggest bluegill I've seen.
This B & B was so wonderful. The owner and caretaker is awesome. The property is just beautiful and so peaceful. The room was so spacious and decorated just amazing. Will go back again and again. Oh and there is a pond you can fish on. Barbara & Garry Nesbit
Country Oaks Bed and Breakfast is my new favorite place to stay while in Mountain View, AR. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and really close to town. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding! You will not regret staying at Country Oaks.
From the check In to the check out this was more than we expected. A very beautiful home with 70 acres of walking trails and a small lake you can fish. The breakfast was great that the owners prepared and the smoothie to main course was great. Eating breakfast watching the deer walk along the lake was amazing.
I will absolutely stay here again. The owners are very friendly and sweet! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very delicious! Theres a lot of property you can explore and the views are Gorgeous too!
My wife and I spent 2 nights in this very lovely Bed and Breakfast in Mountain View. We were very favorably impressed with the Bride's Suite and its charming decor. We loved the second floor location with many windows which afforded gorgeous views of the grounds surrounding the Inn. There was also a small private balcony off the bedroom. The adjacent sitting room was also quite spacious and had a large TV. The breakfast was beautifully prepared by Joy and was absolutely delicious. Jerry served the meal and provided interesting conversation and unique perspectives about the history of this small quiet town. The innkeepers were most cordial and enhanced our stay. We would love to return in the future. Raymond M.
