Camped at Lake Ouachita recently and was thoroughly impressed with the way the park is run. First off, camping on the peninsula was beautiful. Waking up to the view of the lake all around made for perfect mornings. The campsites were amazing with a nice flat pad at each for setting up a tent on level ground. The fire pits,...

My 3 boys (11, 9, 5) love this park. We visit here at least 1-2 times each year. The park rangers have daily activities that my boys always enjoy. We rent canoes and explore the lake. Campsites have great views and plenty of room. Restroom facilities are well maintained. The park staff are always friendly and ready to help.

Nicer than my own home! Spacious and fully stocked kitchen and linens. We stayed in a pet-friendly cabin and they even had dog bowls and dog bones for our pups! Wonderful family atmosphere and close to the marina. Will do this again!

This is a very nice and very popular state park! We stayed in the woods view tent camping area. The bathrooms at this part of the park were crawling with spiders...with one GIGANTIC one we named Gertrude...However, the other bathhouses in the park were very very clean so we used those. The facilities are great here and the staff is...

We happened to get here three days after they opened our campsite loop following a complete makeover. It was great to have a sewer connection, but what really made the place was the view. We were perched right above the water in site 44. The trails were great for strolling (okay, a little up and down through the woods, but...

Very nice wooded campsites that offer a lot of space between each site. Our site, while not on the water, still offered a great view of the lake. The bathroom/shower facilities were excellent! We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this campground and will be back. The camp hosts were very nice and the nightly rates were very affordable!...

The campsites are large and spaced farther apart than other campgrounds we have visited. The RV sites are level and have a tent pad. The bath houses are clean and new. The staff at the visitor center were friendly and helpful. We stayed at site #1 and could easily walk through the woods via the amphitheater trail to the play...

This state park has well thought out rv sites and I think this is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The hosts are every busy taking care of things and very helpful. We were in Area A site 7; the birds woke us up very morning. Pleasant and calming.

How beautiful. I don't think there is a bad site in the park. Well cared for. Immaculate, level, well spaced, full of amenities and nice touches. We woke up to the ducks and geese hooting and hollering. The view of the lake was great, just a very nice park.

We spent two nights at the walk in tent sites. It's such a beautiful location on a spit of land that extends into Lake Ouachita with beautiful hills surrounding the blue lake. The lake is so clear you can look down to the rocks on the bottom. The walk in tent sites have been created just for tent camping and...
