We stayed in yurt one for three nights. The park is fantastic - tons of trails for hiking. The yurt was equipped with canoes, cookstove, and charcoal grill. The yurts have power but no heat/air (do have a fan). It got pretty hot during the heat of the day, but was comfortable with the windows open and fans blowing at... More

This was my fourth year visiting Petit Jean. They have an outdoor swap meet (mainly for old car enthusiast) but yearly it is a pleasure to set up camp in one of their many camp sites ready for the biggest RV to the smallest tent. They also have a lovely old hotel with food of good quality. The park has... More

We stayed in camp area "A" on our vacation and it is one of the best maintained campgrounds we have visited. There are an unlimited number of activities for families in the area; playground, pool, hiking trails, boats, car museum, petting zoo and horseback riding nearby. My kids say it is their favorite place to camp.

I set up my tent in this campground and I was very impressed with how quiet it was. The quiet time starts at 10PM and it is strictly enforced. The park rangers are law enforcement officers and they do a fantastic job of keeping the place safe and quiet. The restrooms and showers are very clean. The campsite was clean.... More

We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights in May. The cabin was actually larger than we needed with a sizable living room and separate bedroom plus a kitchen area. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It was within walking distance of the lodge and dining area. We had all our meals in the park. The... More

We stayed in cabin 14 and found it sparkling clean, no musty smells at all, very roomy, and the bed was super comfortable. The view from the back deck is stunning. This was our first time visiting this state park and we will definitely be back!

We wanted a quiet camping area with hiking rails and clean facilities. Arkansas State parks have a well deserved reputation for maintaining outstanding state parks, and Petit Jean is a prime example. Stayed there two quiet nights and spent likes of ime on the rails. We will do it again.

What a beautiful park. We hiked the cedar creek waterfall and seven hollow. Beautiful terrain and campgrounds. They even have a lodge with a restaurant and swimming pool. Will definitely be back! Can't wait to come back and check out more trails!

First of all, we only went here for a day trip and did not stay overnight. That being said, this place is simply incredible. Beautiful park, clean facilities, helpful staff... you name it, it's here. My wife and I showed up not knowing what we wanted to do, ended up hearing good things about the waterfall and the pond beneath... More

I gave the park 5 stars, and only hold back a star for the campground because the bathrooms need to be updated. We just didn't want to use the showers. Arkansas is doing a great job of maintaining their state parks with the designated tax money, but the bathrooms should be on the to-do list next. The campgrounds could also... More
