200 Year old farmhouse only one and a half miles from the A1 but in a tranquil setting. Ideal for a base for exploring the area. The house has been tastefully re-decorated in Winter 2014 and is furnished in keeping with its period. We have a combination of King-size/double/twin and single rooms. Dogs are welcome by arrangement. We are situated in a dark sky area and of course makes viewing the night sky a truly wonderful experience. We pride ourselves with providing a quality service. We have a 9-hole golf course and adventiure golf on part of the farm

Had a super 4 night stay here. Annie made us most welcome. A lovely room with large private bathroom next door to our room but not technically en-suite as had to go onto landing to gain access. A minor point on an otherwise wonderful stay....More

This old farmhouse is very conveniently situated for visiting Holy Island and Lindisfarne in a rural area where there are few other hostelries. It caters for only 6 people but there is a small caravan park that is part of the business. There is a...More

Thank you for your comments. The decoration is in keeping with the 200 year old farmhouse and is painted yearly. The wallpaper is renewed when appropriate. We would like to correct you in the point where you say that "The bathrooms are not en-suite". You...More

Basic B&B but clean with good breakfast and located well; we return because we think it is great. Ideal for Holy Island and for touring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Great dinner at Lowick, just 3 miles away.

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Holly Island. A wonderful site completely off the beared track. The silence here is golden. The site only takes about 5 motorhomes or caravans, thus it is very very quiet. Onsite facilities include hook up and toilets that...More
