I have been here with my family several times, in all seasons. At all moments the services were very OK, great food and the hotel personnel was careful to our needs. The SPA is opened at all moments. In the summer there are more things that you can do, compared to winter: boat renting, adventure park, places to ride a bike, fishing or you can enjoy a nice walk. From here you can take boat rides, to see Delta Comana.
Perfect place for a quick weekend away from the city. We only stayed for one night. The room was so pretty, very clean, comfy bed and pillows. It also had a balcony where you might want to enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet. Service was overall ok. Breakfast was also fine, not that big of a selection. They do prepare fresh eggs, which is a plus, but they only serve toast bread, which I am not a fan of. Will probably return for a night or two.
We took the one hour drive out to Casa Comana not knowing what to expect. We were highly delighted with the place which at first had a restful atmosphere but it did get very busy in the afternoon. The food was very good &other service friendly & efficient. The day we were there ,there was a commemoration of the bravery of a Wellington Bomber crew who crashed into the lake to save the village. I was impressed to see serving British soldiers, airmen & navy represented as well as the Embassy. A fitting tribute I really enjoyed my visit and the boat trip as well. Thanks!
We heard of the Comana House resort for some time. 25 years ago in the Comana forest I have taken my family for our first tent weekend experience. Now as our daughter is 31 and far from us we have decided for a quiet weekend close to Bucharest. It's a wonderful location, very nice constructed, with care for details. The rooms are big with nice amenities including a little spa with Jacuzzi and Sauna. From here you can visit wihin 15 minute walking distance the Comana Monastery, the Neajlov Delta and the Comana Adventure Park.
The area is wonderful and the initial construction had a lot of potential. Now it's just a place with mediocre services, wrong details, the worst Wi-Fi I have seen in the last 10 years and even some TV channels that can not be tracked. I have noticed the negative and slightly aggressive attitude of the employees. Some rooms are nice but small and with small bathrooms. Many mosquitoes and no insects screen at windows or at balcony's door.
