My boyfriend and I did a trip of 2 months last autumn in Patagonia. This charming hostel has been the best place - quiet, really comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts and friendly service. Sara, who works there, was really kind with us and helped us to manage our next destinations and hikes. We had to stay one more night because of...

For me this was one of the best hostels I stayed in before! Everything is like home.. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, kiss on the forehead after you are tucked in... Well.. Close to home! :D other than the things you always look for (above) this place is special because of Sara ( the Brazilian/German/ coolest chick this side of the...

Staying at this hostel was by far one of my favorite parts of my experience in Chile. The staff was very friendly and amazingly helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were by far the cleanest I have ever seen in any hostel that I have stayed at. The interior was cozy and welcoming to us weary travelers. The staff helped us...

Yes this hostel may be pricier than others in Coyhaique (18,000 clp) but the beds in the dorms were bigger than your average twin and definitely more comfortable. I like that there was an electrical strip next to each bed. It's a rather small hostel 1 dorm room with 6 beds and 2 double rooms. The downside to this is...

Most expensive hostel we have stayed at in all of Chile (18,000 compared to the usual 10,000). Clean with friendly staff, comfy beds and good breakfast. But frustratingly only one bathroom which was always in use.

Perfect if you're looking for a cozy, clean, spacious and unique stay in Coyhaique! Very nice hostel: clean, well organized and beautifully decorated with a lot of wood. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff (and son :) who make their own delicious bread for breakfast. The bathroom was one of the best we had in Chile; warm and enough...

The hostel was fantastic! Super nice crew, yummie breakfasts and crazy big and comfy beds! Really good standard. What I also really liked is that everything worked, nothing was broken, and the water was warm.... This is something one appreciates from time to time during travelling ;-) Also the common room downstairs is big, very cosy and with original details...

Patagonia hostel is cozy and comfortable, but the most expensive hostel we've stayed anywhere in South America so far. Perhaps that's just the nature of Coyhaique. Room was clean, sometimes a bit noisy due to road. No kitchen, which was a shame, though they do leave hot water out to make drinks (though when we asked if we could have...

We stopped by this hostel to see if they had availability, and even though it is by far the nicest and well kept hostel in town, the owner is the opposite of hospitable. The owner who showed us around must've been having a bad day as she was extremely unpleasant and seemed disinterested in having guests or business (even though...

We came here in the afternoon because of a positive review in the Lonely Planet... It looked okay and we were welcomed by german owner. She told us that a dormitory bed costs CLP18000 per person... We first thought we didn't understand it well, so we asked again, but she confirmed the price. This is the most expensive price for...
