We had the greatest dished from Asia and oftentimes customized carribean salt fish choka. Soft shell crab curry and Jack fruit curry — all with the right level of spices.

Excellent experience with faultless staff and accommodation. The staff are extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. Want a relaxing break without street markets and hawkers then this is paradise. Going to Bali? ... then definately stay here.

Amazing villas. Well managed property. Staff is super friendly. Indian and Lombok food is excellent. The reef in front of the hotel makes for nice snorkelling. Only one small issue was the noise we encountered one night from a disco across the water on one of the Gilli islands. Earplugs were provided. It happened only one of five nights we stayed. The serenity of this place is unmatched. Loved the frangipani trees everywhere and the sweet smell of the flowers.

Our experience at the Oberoi Lombok was nothing less than spectacular. The hotel has a great vibe, and an excellent spot on the island. A great beach, beautiful views of the sunset, and within a short boat ride of the Gili islands. We went there with our family, which included three young kids, and were joined by another family, so there were 8 of us in total. The service was simply great. From the concierge to room service, they all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and keep our kids entertained. We did a short trip to the market on the horse carriage, which was fun for the kids. The Oberoi team also arranged a bunch of fun classes for them, from mocktail making to baking to Batik painting - there was loads to do. The pool and the cabanas around it were great, our kids spent a lot of time in the pool. We would usually proceed to the beach areas and the hammock and swing for the sunsets. We had one particular day where the sky was a fascinating hue of pink. The chef and his team were extremely accommodating, always offering to cook us stuff we liked, taking orders early to make sure they were ready when the kids were hungry. Breakfasts were great - all a la carte - and the chef and his team made stuff off the menu for us on more than one occasion. They also packed us breakfast for our early start to the airport. One night, there was a BBQ by the beach, a particularly lovely meal. We booked a charter through the hotel to go to the Gili Islands twice, and our kids enjoyed the snorkeling and the beaches there. We were new to Lombok, and it does seem like the adage of Gili being "Bali but 20 years ago" has worn off - its a pretty heady mix of cafes and bars - good for partying, only ok for kids. As a result, we mainly did day trips and would come back to the Oberoi for an afternoon swim. We went during what is supposed to be rainy season, but were really happy with the weather. There were a couple of afternoons of rain, and some cloudy days, but given the sheer amount of time we were spending outdoors and in the ocean, some sun cover helped. We all did various treatments at the spa as well, and found those to be excellent. It's the little things that help too - the concierge were friendly enough to help us get some food and necessities for the kids - saving us a trip into the town. The downsides - if you like to party, then the Oberoi is a bit distant from a "scene". But for us and the family, it was just great. Thanks to all the staff that made it a wonderful stay. …

In a most beautiful location, hugely spacious, superbly maintained, oodles of space for the maximum of 100 guests. Individual villa rooms with private pool absolutely first class. Responsiveness of staff in all areas exemplary and their outlook helpful, smiley and all had a good grasp of English.

This resort is by far the best resort we've visited. The resort is outstanding, the bungalow was beautiful, spacious, very comfortable King size bed, the view of the garden was beautiful, the bathroom was designed perfectly. The grounds are very well atteneded, they have activities you can do such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking among others. The staff was impeccable. Hairi, Michelle, Vaibhav and the rest were very attentive and they love their guests! We had the best time there and I promise you won't be disappointed. ALL of the meals were delicious and the portions were a good size. My favorite meal was the Prawns and Mie Goreng (ate that 3 of the 4 nights) !!!!! We enjoyed the Communial Cooking class was so much to watch and assist how the food was prepared - the papaya salad was delicious!!!!! and the steamed Mahi. Don't miss out on this gem of a resort!!! We enjoyed a 7 day stay here and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing ‘away from it all’ break. Excellent food, great accommodation, lovely pool, private boat for easy access to nearby activities such as swimming with turtles, and best of all, the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are attentive, efficient, fun and always smiling. A really lovely holiday - thank you!

We are an elderly couple and stayed for 4 nights in a standard room 90 Sq.M in size with an ocean view during the Resort's off-peak season. The room layout was amazingly spacious with a luxurious feel and notably, large wardrobe spaces and was well stocked with toiletries and a complimentary fruit basket, which were topped up almost daily. The king-size bed we had was very comfortable. The room was remarkably clean and tidy upon check-in and was regularly maintained and kept pristine throughout. Almost effortless access to Wi-Fi in the room and within the resort. The Resort is fairly large, so we were fortunate that our room was close to the restaurants and main facilities. The resort had a rustic and 'chill' vibe about it which we loved and enjoyed throughout. The restaurants and bar have a range of Local, Indian and Western on the menu. The meals were sumptuous and delicious. We loved the Indian and local food but could not take it too spicy so they kindly lowered the spicy levels. ALL the resort staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The service level was the highest we have ever encountered and was prevalent throughout the resort. Our welfare was at the utmost of the staff's list of priorities with sensible and practical advice about food, activities and our needs. They have a varied list of activities including complimentary ones so do discuss with them any specific needs you may have or activities you would like to do, in advance as we did. Without a moment of hesitation, we would highly recommend the Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok with a minimum of 4 or 5 nights stay to fully enjoy the Resort. We have every intention to return but perhaps, a longer stay the next time around.…
