My wife and I had such an amazing time staying here for our honeymoon. Everything was so clean and well kept, there were plenty of bars and restaurants, and everyone was so friendly! Our butler Smerlin was so helpful and kind and really made us feel welcomed. The Tiki bar was easily our favorite spot at the resort. Raffi made some of the best drinks we've ever had and was always attracting a crowd by being friendly and funny! We cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Our only area of improvement would be that some meals could have been less dry. But with such beautiful views, good drinks, and great staff, we would definitely recommend this place to others.
We just got back from an awesome vacation at the Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. What made this vacation so special though is the attentive staff. We had never had a butler before and didn’t think we needed one until we met Eduardo. He was amazing. He took care of all the PIA, time consuming things (dinner reservations, excursions reservations, getting the television fixed, etc. ) which allowed us more time to relax and enjoy our vacation. He was able to answer all of our questions and made suggestions which made our vacation even more enjoyable. Then there was the pool staff. Bernardo and his pool partner Santo were the best. They treated us as if we were the only people at the resort which of course we were not. I’m sure they made everyone feel just as special. As for the bartenders, most made great drinks but Rafe at the Tiki bar near the adult pool was by far the best. He also has a great personality which only enhances his bartending skills. We go on vacations once or twice a year and usually try someplace new each time. While we were getting ready to come back home, my husband suggested coming back to the Magestic Mirage next year and I think we might just do that. Hopefully, EDUARDO, BERNARDO, SANTO, and RAFE will still be there!…
Alexander was my butler for my 5 day trip and he was AMAZING! He responds very quickly and make sure you are satisfied with your experience!! I recommend him as a butler, he make your trip successful!
Spent a long weekend at the Majestic Mirage for a friend's wedding. The resort is stunning and spotless, with plenty of activities for all ages. Our butler Yordy, was a standout, checking in everyday, in person and via WhatsApp, to keep us well informed and up to date. We looked forward to his beautiful smile every day :)
amazing friendly staff starting with out butler Victor he was really attentive with our daily communication and also made reservations for us.The pool bartender Johnny made us really good drinks,Also our main waiter Dario which also took care of us
We had a great family vacation, very relaxing and memorable. Dario and Alan are the BEST! They make you feel like family during every meal and trip to the bar. If you book a vacation here, you have to meet these two!
Had a really good time. Food was really good and not no problem at all, lelus was up and active making sure we were comfortable. The beach was cleaned everyday to make sure there was no sea weed and the water was very nice
We had an amazing time at the Majestic Mirage. The rooms were gorgeous and the cleaners always left the room perfect. The staff was so kind and were people who we could consider family. Most importantly, the Mayor Domo that we had, Huggins, was so great. He always made himself available to us and was able to solve any problems we had or answer any questions. Luckily, there were not problems whatsoever. We will definitely come back soon!
Okay this is a longgg one but it is my review 😊 Stayed in an interior swim up on the adult side Building 6. We were told this is not their busy season and we could tell because it wasn’t crowded! (Booked trip through Costco) Arrival at airport - Highly recommend VIP service. We were in and out of the airport in prob 10 minutes. Check in at hotel - This took maybe 10 mins as soon as we got here around 1:30. We went to seaside restaurant to eat because our room wasn’t ready. We went back to main lobby at 2:45-3:00 and it was ready to go! Room- it’s beautiful! Love the 1 and 1/2 bath suites. Very roomy! It was very clean and they actually mopped the floors everyday! The second day it seemed like there were knocks on our door every few minutes in the morning but after that day they seemed to come later in the afternoon. (It was the maid and mini bar service, they also have someone come around in the evening to prepare your bed for sleep which consists of taking off the blue end blanket) Some people said they had do not disturb signs, but we did not have one. It wasn’t a huge deal especially after the first day so we didn’t ask for one. Room was very cold when we first arrived and had a slight mildew smell but I hung 2 damprids and after that it was fine! We had an Interior swim up on the adult side and the a/c worked well!! I also liked that this wasn’t the building with the pool bar because we basically had the pool to ourselves everyday and played our own music. The swim up bar was in the pool right next to ours so it was easy access to get a drink! Butler- We had Junuor and he was great!! Welcomed us upon arrival and sent us texts everyday we were here. The texts also included what restaurants were open that day and a reminder regarding the attire, mainly for the men at night. He set up our reservations and also set up our honeymoon beach dinner! He even showed up the beach evening dinner to take pictures for us, so sweet!! One day our room keys stopped working but it was because the battery in the door died. He had a technician to our room in less than 10 minutes! He seemed to find us at least once everyday to just check in. We didn’t need much from him but loved the daily checkins and help with the restaurant reservations! Food- Seaside lunch buffet- It was okay. We could always find something we liked. I mainly stick to rice and chicken and the first day we had a hamburger made to order which was good. Market place - we only went here once for breakfast buffet. I highly recommend the made to order omelette, favorite food on the buffet! I also tried the pancakes and waffles and they were ok! Draft sports bar - we went here one day hoping to get breakfast but missed it so we tried lunch. I got chicken tenders and fries and also tried the potato skins. My husband got a burger. This was our least favorite meal. We never went back here to eat but did go back for drinks one evening and to watch some football! Servers were great! Steakhouse - First night we went it was just okay, I got a flank steak and my husband got a tenderloin and short rib. Short rib he said was dry. We went back a second night to give it another try and we both got the short rib and mashed potatoes, it was excellent then!! So maybe just depends on the day? Haha. The chocolate cake dessert was really good here too! Japanese/ Hibachi - It is a set menu, it came with shrimp fried rice, chicken and ramen and steak and vegetables. We really enjoyed this meal!! It was my 2nd fav out of all of the restaurants! Great show they put on too while cooking. Italian - men need long pants here and closed toe shoes (just fyi). This was just okay. My husband got a Caesar salad which I ate a few bites and we both liked it. We both got lasagna and I would say it was just okay. It is beautiful inside here tho! French - (long pants and closed toe shoes also needed here for men) - this was by far our favorite restaurant!! We even went twice 😊. We tried the shrimp, lamp chops and ribeye tacos. Note that they aren’t really tacos, it’s ribeye and vegetables on a plate but it was really good!!! Got it both times! Honeymoon dinner on the beach - This came with a heart shaped crab salad and then steak and lobster, mashed potatoes and veges and cheesecake for dessert. This meal wasn’t our favorite and I hate to say that. Lobster and steak were overdone. Dessert was my favorite part of that meal. There was a couple next to us and they said the same thing. But I will say the servers and view was amazing! I will say before coming I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on the food. Mostly I feel I’ve seen that “it wasn’t good”. I don’t agree with that completely because I felt with all of the choices here you can definitely find some good food!!! When you do just stick to that! Overall I thought most of the food here was enjoyable! Service - AMAZING!! Between the check in, butler, servers, bartenders etc, everyone is so nice and willing to wait on you hand and foot!! I already talked about Junuor but I have to give a special shout-out to JUAN at the adult pool! He was constantly walking around making sure you didn’t need anything! He worked hard everyday and was so nice! FRANCISCO at the Piano bar was the best!! He was so great and made the best lemon drop martini! We visited him everyday he was working. Alan at the lobby bar was also fun and made good drinks! I saw a lot of people say they had trouble getting beach towels previously, we never had an issue but maybe because it wasn’t overly busy? Beach - It was beautiful! I know this is weird to say, but we are not big beach people and mainly enjoyed our swim up room. But we did walk down to the beach everyday just to check it out. It seemed as the week went on the seaweed got better! Yes there is seaweed now as I’ve heard it is the time of year for that, but we found days where it wasn’t as bad! Lots of locals walking around trying to sell you stuff but if you said No they kept walking. The day we decided to actually hang out on the beach we had no problem getting a front row lounge chair on the adult side and we didn’t get there until 11:30 am. Such a beautiful beach overall! My tips on what extras to bring: Stainless steel straws (most places didn’t seem to have straws) Insulated cup - they will fill your drinks up for you in it! It’s very warm and ice melts fast if you don’t have one Damprid for rooms Pool floatie Lots of sunscreen! Blue tooth speaker I can’t say bug spray because we didn’t have problems with bugs but some people have. 1s and 5s for tipping - (my husband and I each brought $200) Overall We will definitely come back and when we do we would stay at this resort again!…
Juan Barnardo! The best!!! He made the majority of our holiday tick and a true credit to the resort. Mentions to Daysi, Omar and Allen for their drink service and Ana Maria for always being there at food time to help. Clean, good food, wonderful people.
