An amazing resort and worth every penny. The food, drinks, entertainment, room, beach, and pool exceeded our expectations. But what really made this resort a great place to stay was the staff. So friendly, fun, and willing to accommodate your needs. Especially Gasolina and Elisa...More

I believe it all depends and how much time you plan to be out in the pools, beach, bars, and restaurants. For example, if you are out in the beach and you are chilling, there is usually staff from the resort (waiters) walking around asking if you would like a drink. Of course all drinks are included. However, considering that these waiters are very attentive, and it is steaming hot, we would usually tip $2.00 bucks per trip. When we went out to breakfast, lunch, or dinner we would leave a $5.00 or $10.00 dollar tip, depending how service was. It was usually good. At night, it was the same, regardless if we were at the patio, theater, sport bar, or club. We usually tipped $2.00 per request. I will break it up for you as to how we tipped.
Beach: 2 request $4.00
Food throughout the day: $15.00
Night drink request: $20.00
An average of about $39.00-$40.00 dollars a day of tips.
Service is awesome. According to the booking, tips are included, but as we all know, bar tenders and waiters in the USA make an average of less than $3.00 an hour. Therefore, I feel that these workers deserve an extra tip.
At the end of the day, it all depends if you plan to be out in about, if your going on a honeymoon, and don't plan to be too wild and what not. We were always out and about. Therefore, did tip quite frequently. Like I mentioned before, these hard working people deserve it. This is my opinion. Hope this helps.
