This is our 2nd time in Punta Cana Princess. We went there 4 nights in July, because we had an amazing experience we came back for 8 nights in November. The Resort is beautiful. Great location, it's a safe gated area. ROOMS: our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, they did room cleaning everyday, amazing view to the ocean, nice decoration, good air conditioner. OUTSIDE AREAS: The green landscape and gardens are fantastic, you can feel the caribbean paradise environment. FOOD: The big buffet is delicious. Also, they have a second buffet next to the beach. In addition they have 4 different good restaurants with a trio live music going around the tables, so you can feel the caribbean culture. BEACH: the beach is stunning, very clean because they clean it every day. Also, they have shades (palapas) so you can stay comfortable all day at the beach. ANIMATION: Animation team is amazing, friendly people, Valeria, Felix, Yelsin, Alex, and the rest of the team are really compromised to bring entertainment to the guest. They make you feel part of the family. They offer you a variety of activities, so guests will never be boring. CUSTOMER SERVCE: The staff is friendly people, they always try to help you and they are taking care of the resort guests. The resorts allow you to enjoy the other restaurants located at the Caribe Deluxe Princess, reservation is required. Besides, we have access to the shows and the pools of the Caribe Deluxe Princess. Definitely, this is a plus. However, we have a few complaints in Punta Cana Princess. They didn't have enough beach towels, it's not a big deal. But my big complain was that they had scheduled a beach lunch barbecue on Sunday and they canceled at the last minute. We had it in our first visit and we wanted to enjoy the same experience again. It’s hard to know where to begin, the vacation was absolutely perfect! We have been to Punta Cana three times, and this is by far our favorite resort, and will definitely return. The Punta Cana airport has been redone and it is quick and easy to get through.We traveled with a group of 12. Check-in was quick and easy with Carlos and he remembered our names every time we saw him. The rooms were good, air conditioning worked good, housekeeping kept our room clean with plenty of towels and the fridge well-stocked. Carlos and Danji at the Front desk made arrangements for us to go to the sister resort next-door to the Brazilian restaurant and the sports bar. That was fun, to see the family resort but we preferred the adults only Princess resort. The beach is lovely, and there are tons of Palapas and chairs at the beach.There was some seaweed on the beach each morning but the workers had it cleaned up in no time. They all work so hard at this resort to keep it clean. All of the bartenders were fun, especially Felix and Nelson. All of the restaurants were good, and the Buffett was really good. Henry at the breakfast Buffet made the best omelettes! Remember to tip housekeeping and Bartender’s, and restaurant staff, they work very hard to keep the place clean and all were very friendly. When we checked out a young man we had not even seen before greeted us by name and we had a seamless check out. The front desk manager Ramon made sure he came out of his office to tell us goodbye and hoped that we came back again. We just returned from our 4th visit to the Punta Cana Princess. We traveled with another couple. Why do we return? Because the staff are amazing! They treat you like family and remember your preferences. You are always greeted with an "Hola" no matter who you encounter at the resort. They work hard at keeping the grounds beautiful and picture perfect. We prefer a smaller resort where we can form friendships with the staff, as well as some of the guests. When you see the same people every day in the pool, they quickly become your vacation friends. Shout outs to the following staff members: Carlos "the Skinny Guy" works to get you EXACTLY what you need (like extra pillows!). He's personal, polite, professional, and he remembers EVERYTHING. Alexander always greets you with a smile and is super accommodating. I traveled with a mobility scooter and he asked me every day if there was anything I needed. Luisa is so sweet and is an excellent bar waitress. We typically saw her in the lobby, but she makes her way around the resort as well. Nelson and Jose are awesome pool bartenders. They have your drinks made as soon as they see you coming! My husband loved Nelson's "Spicy Bloody Caesars." Luis remembered us as soon as he saw us. He immediately asked if the guys needed cigars or more rum in the room. The hostess at buffet (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had a table where I could park my scooter nearby. The Animation Team, while much smaller in size than prior years, worked hard at making sure the guests were having fun. And there are so many others who I simply don't know by first name. Some highlights of our trip: A privately chartered fishing trip through Mike's Marina. My husband and his friend caught five mahi-mahi and two barracuda. They brought one of the mahi-mahi back to the resort and the sous chef prepared it for us for dinner. It was DELICIOUS! I had a relaxing facial at the Metamorphosis Spa (located at the front of the Caribe - shared resort). The price was fair and the treatment was divine. Just what my sun-kissed skin needed! Our friend had a relaxation massage at the resort, in the outdoor cabana near the pool, and was happy with her service. And no trip is complete without a complimentary trip to Don Lucas Cigar Factory! Just ask Carlos about scheduling. In summary, we love the Punta Cana Princess and look forward to returning in the future. It's not a large resort (easy to navigate!), it's not super fancy (rooms are getting a little dated), but it's also not going to break your vacation budget. What it IS going to do is provide you with rest, relaxation, pool fun (foam party!), smiles, and new friends. Give this little gem a try!…

If you're looking for an amazing get away from reality, I'd advise you stay here! Me and my wife went there for our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier about our choice. The people are amazing and friendly! Also, don't forget to stop by and see Nelson at the pool bar! Always has a smile on his face and always makes the best drinks! And I can't forget about Luis! He literally works all over the resort and no matter where he was or what he was doing took care of anything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we plan on going back!

I read a review that said it wasn't a proper 5 star resort, while that might true, we had the best time. The room we stayed in was nice, if a little dated, but who goes on vacation to stay in the room? The room was clean and everything worked just fine, we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The staff and service were amazing and incredibly friendly! Nelson at the pool bar was fantastic, Luis was fantastic as well. They all treated us like family while we were there. We were relaxed and had such a great time. We would definitely come back here.

Perfect for a week long get away. It’s not proper 5 star but it is really lovely. The room was very comfortable and resort is well maintained. The food was good as we had no complaints what’s so ever. The pools and beech are nice and all staff we encountered were very friendly.

My wife and I are currently at princess punta Cana adults only resort, and it has not been a good experience. We upgraded to the VIP package when we arrived, but was met with dirty bed sheets, the phone was broken( and still is, this is day 5 ) part of the package is 24th s free room service, otherwise if not vip you have to pay for room service, but was not able to use this service, the shower is broken causing to spill water from the handle giving low water pressure, the mini bar is supposed to be replenished two to three times a day, but we had once every two days and had to go to the front desk to ask ( as the phone doesn’t work) yesterday was raining a lot, and every room has two umbrellas except ours, had to go to front lobby to ask for one and was told that they ran out! This is now day 5 out of 7 and I went to the lobby everyday to report the problems we were facing and just got the run around! When I had enough today, I asked for a refund from the VIP package and at first was told that corporate said no, then after two hours was told that they would not refund the days partook on the VIP. ( WHAT SERVICE???) nothing worked or was missing or broken, then corporate said they would only refund the last two days and we would get downgraded! Geeeez! If the VIP service was so terrible, I wonder how the regular one would be?? So, pretty much we paid extra at the hotel $650 for a lobster diner that they advertise for $75! Horrible horrible horrible!!!!! Be aware of the welcome package, where they take you into a room and try to sell you a time share kind of deal! Very pushy and wasted two hours being there!! I’m a flight attendant and I know vacation places all over the world! And by far, this win the trophy for the worst! I do not recommend this resort to anyone! …

Each criticism, compliment, and recommendation will help us to improve our standards of service. We regret to read your comment about the service; we assure you this is not the type of experience our clients are met with. In reference to the mini bar, it take us by surprise, because according to our standard, it is supposed to be refilled once a day and not two or three times as you mentioned. We deeply regret that you couldn’t enjoy it to the fullest and we hope you understand that it was never our intention to disappoint you in any way. Moreover, we guarantee you that this is not the type of service most of our guests are met with. In reference to the telephone we were searching in our records and found that this issue has been resolved the other reports found are requesting extra beers and soft drinks for the minibars and no other report appears. Based on the picture of the sheen on the bed, we are quite surprised because this does not represent the quality of service we provide to our clients. However, we have initiated a thorough investigation to find out how it could happen. We want to apologize for the third-party vendors and their behavior, please be assured that internally we will be taking the necessary measures in an attempt to eliminate this issue while in the meantime, passing on your comments to their main office to avoid any future inconveniences. This was our second visit to the Puta Cana Princess. The first was 5 years ago, so we were surprised to find a "Welcome Back" banner on the door to our room. What a nice personal touch! Our room was on the third floor and it had a fantastic view of the pool and a bit of the ocean. One issue we did have was that there was that on the first day the mini fridge was not stoked and there was no bottled water. We called the front desk to request some and it never arrived, so we went to the lobby bar and got a few bottles there. Housekeeping was hit or miss as far as leaving water, towels etc or even having the room cleaned by 4:30 when we wanted to go back and relax before dinner, so I usually found myself collecting what I needed from the housekeeping carts myself. The rooms themselves are a bit tired and in need of refreshing, but the other hotels in this chain in Punta Cana have been recently renovated, so I would assume this hotel will be renovated soon which would be nice. That was really the only negative, now that that is out of the way lets talk about the staff! Nelson at the pool bar is absolutely amazing. He is so friendly and on top of it. After the first day he knew that we wanted rum punch so as we arrived at the pool he would have one ready to go with a high five and a smile. Agapito and Felix work around the pool doing clean up and helping out with anything you need and they are fantastic. Felix even went so far as to get us dry towels after a rain shower soaked the ones we had. Jose Luis and Yosabia at the lobby bar are amazing. It can be very busy there in the evening, but you never wait long for service. Lajara is the restaurant manager and he is exceptional. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a special experience at his restaurants. All the staff have fantastic attention to detail and memory of what you like, from a cappuccino at breakfast to a glass of wine in the lobby. Lastly, the entertainment staff are also amazing. We played the games at the pool every day and after day 1 they knew our names and called for us to play. Everyone works incredibly hard and the smiles and great attitudes are so genuine. Please remember to tip these fantastic folks, they really deserve it. One last note is that at the end of October there was no access to the other hotels that are associated with Punta Cana Princess. Normally you would be able t use the restaurants and facilities at the sister hotels. Access did open on November 1, so if you are going there in the next few months it is not an issue. We wanted to go to the sports bar to watch a sporting event and were turned away by security, however when we got back we talked to the front desk about it and they called the other hotel and got us access and then gave us a ride to the sports bar on a golf cart which was amazing of them.
