Hi, The beach and water had a fair amount of seaweed when we were there but we were able to find a spot to avoid most of it. They do rake the beach of seaweed and its beautiful. No rocks at all and the sand is so silky and fine. It was red flags the whole time we were there. Hurricane Irma passed by midweek during our stay. My husband and son (12 yr old) went in most days, but not over their heads, but still having fun. I went in one day and it was clear clear water and wonderful!
They did have crepes in the ice cream shop. I didn't make it to the gym and did not use Costco travel. we are Costco members but chose to book our flights and rooms directly.
We were in bldg 2a near the beach and Isla but not near the kiddie area. We were moved to 2b due to hurricane warnings which is closer and connected to the main lobby building with shops, restaurants, casino etc.
