It was my second time to Fantasia after 3 years (Covid era)...

After 6 trips to Royalton/Grand Memories Punta Cana, we decided on Fantasia this year... ( 7 to 8/10 ) Muchos Gracias...Bounas Dias...

...Once we finally arrived to the Fantasia, we were told by apathetic staff that the room they had prepared for us was not suited for our family of four... It was utterly obnoxious, with music screaming every night, sometimes past midnight... For your understanding, the liquid in our cups would shake from the bass, and this went on for hours... When the music would eventually stop, those that stayed in our building would return to their rooms...

Our family travelled as a group of 14 (10 adults, 4 kids) and we were very happy with the overall experience at the Bahia Principe Fantasia...

we celebrated one year old of our carlos... the furniture in the rooms could do with replacing and the food could be healthier - natural juices from fresh fruit instead of artificial sweet drinks...

Great experience in the Bahia Principe Fantasia...

...Even in the kids bands so really useful... Our only issue the whole holiday was how loud the music always was...

Room Junior Suite facing the pool and garden is beautful, more on the luxury side, dinner at Maiko Tepanyaki restaurant is very intertaining the chef is full of energy and very funny, Food is good, white wine is good, beer is average, server is ok, hostess took time to find our reservation although it's right on front of her.... !, excellent entertainment at night the whole resort goes live, music, dance, circus show, light show at the castle...

...Ms.Valeria/front desk, Ms.Zobeyda/costumer service, Mr.Juan porter and Mr.Josue /animation are super professionals, Comfortable rooms, the food varied and good, Live music...

...It's all because the tile floors and heavy wooden chairs with plastic endings on legs... It is easily resolves with felt pads sticks on the chair legs...

I went March 2021 to Bahia Principe Fantasia and it was wonderful vacation despite the restrictions...

My recommendations include to ensure the rooms are well kept as it refers to maintenance. The first room we were assigned to had a broken shower and air conditioner wasn’t working properly... The second room they transferred us to the following day was leaking from the bathroom’s ceiling... They were able to accommodate me to go to some of them within the time I requested...

...Then, they gave us a bedroom with only one bed!... We complained and were told they will change our bedroom the next day...

...My room in particular had a clogged shower and shower head that shot water into the rest of the bathroom...

In short its a nice resort, unfortunately for us we were dissaponted on the service, rooms and quality there are much better 3 star hotels we have been to over the years...

After THREE hours of waiting for Expedia to fix the non-existent issue (I would have never made that “mistake”), Bahia staff agreed to change the room for an additional ~$1000 CAD... Our room was on ground level, which was great as the resort does NOT have elevators... The problem was that the room was located between the stage and the castle... When the music would eventually stop, those that stayed in our building would return to their rooms...

...We had performed an online check-in days before arriving and yet we were not allowed in our rooms until past 4 pm (check in time is 3pm)... By the time we went back to the main lobby it was already past 10pm and every other dining options at the hotel was closed leaving us with no other option for the birthday dinner except order a hamburger by room service in our room...

...Ala cartes are a change and better but make sure you get in quick on the qpp we could only book a couple, seems everyone books them up even if they dont attend as they are empty so thats a bug unfair, again noone helps you or advises on any of this... The sunloungers are a joke you need to be up with the 6am gang putting towels on to get a lounger, not my idea of fun and the pool was not very clean at all, infact im sure it wasnt cleqned daily... Big groups had their own music playing loud from their own speakers, surely thats for the clubbing holidays not a luxury resort?... The kids arcades and pool tables dont work they just take your money anyway including the ones by the theatre, theres entertainment for little kids but nothing for teenagers... Watch the excursions they hassle you round the pool to buy one, we did speed boat and snorkling, a 15minute ride away was actually over an hour in a hot mini van that was not even road egal and the snorkling area was empty of fish not sure why maybe the storm a few days before?... I hate moaning or giving a bad review but given the cost of the trip and its 5 star rating we were really disappinted and unfortunatley wont be back...

...Beach Beach is kind of far from the hotel and they’re expecting you to take a trolley if you don’t want to walk about 15 minutes to the beach , there was a lot of seaweed but that’s not their fault... Service Sometimes average, but most of the times really bad... One, and only exception and great service that we found in this hotel was Italian restaurant with their manager Carlos, who is keeping everything and everybody on top of the game, kudos for them... Service is better for dinner We found some amazing food, and we are very pleased with the dinner choices...

We found no problems as other UK visitors have reported here regarding the language, we knew that we would have some issues with our limited Spanish but the staff treated us exactly the same as Spanish speaking guests, most have a few English words and some speak multiple languages!... We tipped as appropriate as it is customary here so do bring smaller notes, we took US dollars and withdrew some Dominican dollars from the cash point on the resort... There are countless buggies going around the whole resort and you don’t have to wait long to be taken to to the beach/ restaurants/ other hotels although everything is in walking distance... There is an app that you can book the individual a La carte restaurants on and keep track of your bookings and order room service etc... We booked two trips through the poolside organisers and found them to be cheaper but exactly the same as our tour operator offered... I used the gym which has a spin bike, a couple of treadmills, rower and a weight room and had a massage in the SPA, definitely recommend the SPA, I had a lovely relaxing experience...

...The staff is working very hard to try and accommodate everyone. We had an amazing time, great entertainment, the ladies at the kids club were amazing... There are certain systems that we did not understand and made the experience a bit difficult: 1) we would sit at the buffet, greet the waiter/ask for drinks and then leave to get food... The waiters wait until you come back with food though to ask you again what you want to drink... To then give your order to someone else that brings it... There must be a reason they prefer to do it this way, I just wish they at least served water at the table as soon as you are given a table... Please let your customers walk through the alleys...

Room service was good and fast and the food was very good... My kids loved the soft serve ice cream at the pool bar... It has fresh fruit and cupcakes and chips and popsicles plus grilled sandwiches and a pizzeria... No problems getting chairs at the pool or water park... The pool restaurant was quite good at lunch and conveniently located... We went there twice for steak and lobster... I had an amazing massage from jadulka by the pool... No issues with hot water and didn’t see any bugs in our room...

We had performed an online check-in days before arriving and yet we were not allowed in our rooms until past 4 pm (check in time is 3pm)... Most employees hardly ever even smiled and if you asked a waiter for help many times he/she would simply look away... For my wife's birthday, I reserved a hotel restaurant at guest services days before for a 9:30pm dinner with our 5 year old daughter... I had also ordered a birthday cake at the hotel guest services to be delivered to the restaurant as a surprise... We were greatly surprised when we arrived at the restaurant only to be told by the Hostess that our reservation did not exist and that they were closing in 15 minutes so we had to leave... We arrived at 9:30pm sharp and had the email from guest services confirming the reservation... When I asked about the birthday cake I ordered they had no clue as to what I was talking about and they told me I could complain at guest services at the hotel... By the time we went back to the main lobby it was already past 10pm and every other dining options at the hotel was closed leaving us with no other option for the birthday dinner except order a hamburger by room service in our room... We took our 10 months old baby to this resort and it was wonderful!!... Our AC worked really well... A lot of workers don't speak english, but we used google translate and it worked really well!... Lots of waiters spoke English... Shout out to Victor who helped us a lot at the buffet!... He knew to get a highchair for us right away when he saw us... I would recommend booking the a la carte restaurants 5 days before arrival... So I emailed the resort and they gave me a different number to book... You can also take a golf cart shuttle if you are too tired... The resort provided a mini crib for us... I requested two mattresses to make it work... The room service was very accomodating as well!... If you want a quiet room for the baby, I would email the resort to request a garden view!...

...We’re currently in Majestic Elegance and oh God did we recover from Bahia Principe... It was almost impossible to find the beach chairs in the shade... People are getting up as early as 6 AM and putting their belongings on the chairs to keep them occupied during the whole day, and nobody regulates this ... It was so warm that it felt like a hot tub...

If you make reservations to Al’s cart restaurant make sure you’re on time, no one cares you have kids or you’re on vacation, I think michelan star restaurant can accommodate better than these places...

...F Costumer service is non-existing, the food is horrible (they don’t event have enough plates, cups or silverware) the staff is disgruntle and rude to the guests, the spa is terrible, bars are out some liquors and soft drinks I have not had one single pleasant encounter at this place...

...Make sure you are not overcharge by hotel services that cost less than what they say...

...This hotel has a beautiful property and landscape, nice beach, large pools, and water park for kids. The daily activities and shows are excellent... For my wife's birthday, I reserved a hotel restaurant at guest services days before for a 9:30pm dinner with our 5 year old daughter... I had also ordered a birthday cake at the hotel guest services to be delivered to the restaurant as a surprise...

...all events for families with children, very friendly staff, great aqua parks for babies... the staff could speak English instead of only Spanish but it was still lovely🙂...

...We have just returned from a great holiday in this hotel. Greeted by a cocktail for all the family whilst checking in... Checking in was a breeze, and best bit is the key is your wristband... Big shower and a jacuzzi bath in all rooms... However the restaurants you can go to were much better... We ate at 8 different special restaurants as the grounds hold 6 or 7 different hotels and you can travel by little golf cart trains between each one... Easily booked at guest relations (special thanks to Osvaldo) Pools were excellent... 1 massive pool with swim up bar for kids and adults... There is the quieter side with nice featured pools also plenty big enough... The waterpark was great for kids of 1-15 years old too... Fine when entertainment is on but in-between turn it down a little... No fighting or towels down early, just lots of beds and lots of space... Great evening entertainment in the evenings too... All in all a great hotel and would really recommend...

...Here are the good and the bad This resort is catered to both adults and kids . The activities are always fun and the entertainment is always a good time ... Carlos in entertainment is amazing 🤩 The rooms are spacious and very clean ... We had an issue with the bathtub but besides from that everything was perfect ,and if you need anything you get it quickly... The pools are great- the main pool has a bar and Jose is your guy !... He makes fabulous cocktails and great slushy drinks for the kids ... The beach is beautiful , plenty of seating available ... The buffet for breakfast has allot of options but not all are even edible, but you will find something around eat no matter what ... The privilege club- they will try to pitch you ... It’s not worth the hour wasted from the beach/pool... The resort is massive and you will need to take a cart to go to restaurants at the other bahias , as well as to the beach...

We took our 10 months old baby to this resort and it was wonderful!!... Our AC worked really well... Lots of waiters spoke English... Shout out to Victor who helped us a lot at the buffet!... He knew to get a highchair for us right away when he saw us... I would recommend booking the a la carte restaurants 5 days before arrival... You can also take a golf cart shuttle if you are too tired... The resort provided a mini crib for us... I requested two mattresses to make it work... The room service was very accomodating as well!... If you want a quiet room for the baby, I would email the resort to request a garden view!...

Firstly what a amazing resort fantasia is ! Check in was super fast and a bell boy was there instantly and loaded the golf cart and took us to our room ... Quickly shown us how the wristband chip works to open door and showed us mini bar etc ... We arrived early evening and went to the larimar buffet and what a choice of food !... Got served drinks and then retired to room ... Following day we explored the resort and it’s quite frankly paradise... All staff are super and always speak to everyone ... The breakfast/ lunch/dinner in larimar are excellent, plenty of choice and all tastes catered for ... The various restaurants are also excellent with great service and delicious food ( book these on app when there) ... The pools are superb and the swim up bar is a bonus !... Beach is great walking takes 10 minutes or take a golf buggy ... The fantasia is a excellent resort with great staff and excellent food ...

It's actually the best hotel for families with kids we've been so far... It's all because the tile floors and heavy wooden chairs with plastic endings on legs... And it goes on for the whole day, as housekeepers were washing floors and moved chairs the whole day long, so no day nap for our kid... It is easily resolves with felt pads sticks on the chair legs...

...The hotel shop is on another level price wise 9 dollars for 3 bars of kinder buenos honest it's pure greed... The loft kids club is shut basically under renovation along with cinema we use the pool and go to other hotels...

Room Junior Suite facing the pool and garden is beautful, more on the luxury side, dinner at Maiko Tepanyaki restaurant is very intertaining the chef is full of energy and very funny, Food is good, white wine is good, beer is average, server is ok, hostess took time to find our reservation although it's right on front of her.... !, excellent entertainment at night the whole resort goes live, music, dance, circus show, light show at the castle...
