far from the main road and other hotels or restaurants. horrible beach since you cannot even get to the sea and swimm because rocks make it inaccessible. there would be though a potencially nice corner with white sand at least to enjoy the ocean view and some sunbathing...if only the resort would remove the mountain of trush and dirt of any kind and arrange some chairs and umbrellas. the only alternative is to stay around a tiny, dirty, children and noises infested pool or run away. it is just what i have done every morning to go back night time. than what is the reason to chose this resort? very poor/inexistent wifi. overpriced restaurant. very basic room with a scary huge crab painted at the back of your bed. serious piping problem because water would jump out all over from the rusty holes and wet the whole bathroom and towels. stay away!!!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights from Dec. 16-19, 2019. Initially, we booked a standard garden view of 3 rooms but decided to upgrade to their suite rooms good for 4 people each. We upgraded to 2 suites. PROS: Resort is nice. Its clean and peaceful. Staffs are nice and very attentive. Although there were minor miscommunication regarding the reservation of a massage where my Uncle told one of the staff to inform him when the masseuse arrived. Unfortunately, they were not able to relay the matter to the masseuse so my Uncle waited for nothing. CONS: MAJOR RED FLAG - We traveled with my 2 year old toddler. Being a typical 2 year old, he is always busy running and playing around. SAFETY should always be a priority of any hospitality management. The resort's water dispenser (with hot/cold options) were on display in their restaurant. And my 2 year old ran towards it and got burnt with his finger with the hot water dispenser. Now he is suffering 2nd degree burn with broken blisters in 2 of his fingers. My wife is a hotelier, we understand that some properties display water dispensers for the guests to freely use but most of the properties only allow cold water dispenser to be displayed while guests will have to ask the staffs hot water should they need it. Why? FOR SAFETY REASONS especially for guests traveling with kids. Now, I talked to the staff about the incident and I found out that the same unfortunate incident happened to other kids before visiting the Salamangka Resort. What was even more odd was that I was told these kids were the children of the resort's executives (Manager and Owner). Now, I am wondering, as people with authority in the property as to why they did not push for the hot/cold water dispenser to be moved in the kitchen or somewhere not reachable with children. TO THE EXECUTIVES: DEMAND THE MOVE OF THE WATER DISPENSER SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE PROPERTY. IF THAT IS NOT AN OPTION, DISABLE THE HOT WATER FUNCTION OF THE DISPENSER. THESE HAPPENED TO THE OTHER CHILDREN ALREADY BEFORE MY SON's ACCIDENT. DO NOT SLACK OFF WHEN IT COMES TO THE SAFETY OF YOUR GUESTS AND DO NOT POINT THE BLAME TO YOUR STAFFS!! YOU ARE THE PEOPLE OF AUTHORITY IN YOUR OWN PROPERTY! BE MATURE ENOUGH TO ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY! DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY BECAUSE YOUR GUESTS PAY YOU TO DO THAT!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and found the accommodation great. The kitchen served up great food, were available all hours and all staff were friendly and very attentative. We also rented mop heads and had a massage each here and can recommend both. Would definitely recommend this place to my own friends & family

There’s an abundance of mosquitoes, and a limited selection on the menu, and it’s mediocre for the ₱₱₱ price, the restaurant needs the most renovation. Although, the place is nice, the bathroom most especially, and the staff is very accomodating.
