Daintree Manor is located in a beautiful setting. It felt a little remote to me the evening we arrived but it really is not at all; it's actually really nice being outside Daintree Village. We felt very comfortable at the B&B; the rooms are simply but very nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The lounge is... More

This idyllic place just over the Daintree river is a must stay overnight place. Errol (the owner) is one of those guys who has hospitality running through his veins. The room and bathroom are beautiful with views of the rainforest and garden. His garden is something to be jealous of. Lots of exotic fruit trees, a perfect cut lawn and... More

Daintree Manor is simply the best. Errol is a superb host and exotic breakfast chef. This bnb is just north of the Daintree River, which is a great location for avoiding ferry queues. Our bedroom was beautifully appointed and spotless with crisp white linen. We highly recommend this well organized gem of a place to all who value peace and... More

What other reviewers raved about are all true so I won't repeat here. It's always touching to see owners putting in so much effort in running a B&B. But it's rare to come across an owner that has the talent, know-how and dedication to achieve such high standard on so many fronts. Great job!

We spent one night here on our way to Port Douglas and were nothing but stunned by the beauty of this B & B. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was nothing short of superb. Errol is an amazing host and his cooking skills are awesome. We had the best homecooked pastry with fruits from the garden and a... More

Daintree Manor is a place to unwind. Chickens and guinea fowl roam freely around the property, which is spotted with an array of tropical fruit trees. The host kindly gave us a tour, enlightening us about the different varieties. The scenery is one to admire, sit out and read a book, or simply just sit. Breakfast is something to look... More

Errol hosts you because that's what he loves to do. From his welcoming explanation of the fruit trees to his (really) phenomenal breakfast (we've traveled a lot, this was truly unique) - everything is done from the heart. we left with a big smile, a bag of fresh organic passion fruit, and no need for lunch... :)

We came into the rainforest to see animals after dark and get a head-start on other tourists. We thought this place was comfortable, peaceful, and breakfast was a highlight. Errol was a fantastically accommodating host, very personable and an amazing chef. Overall we felt the manor was missing some items that you would normally expect - glasses in the rooms... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid-October and would definitely recommend it. It's a beautifully restored Queenslander home, surrounded by a gorgeous tropical garden and then just forest, forest, forest! A very short drive from the Daintree River Ferry. Errol, the owner and host, made us very welcome and cooked a delicious breakfast, served on the verandah. Our room... More

Spent three nights here in late August. Errol was a great host and very helpful with advice. We enjoyed the time he spent showing us his tropical fruit home orchard he is developing. Outstanding views out over the rain forest which really can only be experienced fully by being there. The breakfasts were a real standout. These were served out... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Daintree Manor has new owners so the place is slowly getting an uplift. Not that much needed doing, Sonja and Mike kept the place immaculately but we are adding our personal touch, repainting and upgrading the furniture. Double beds have been replaced with queen size and there is lots of new outdoor furniture to sit on the balconies, read and relax and enjoy the beauty and views. The rainy season is over and the weather is great so the time is now perfect for a visit to tropical Queensland! Daintree Manor, sits high on a ridge in the foothills of the Alexandra Range, with breathtaking views of magnificent mountain ranges and the Daintree River valley.Located near the Daintree River ferry crossing on the edge of the world heritage listed Daintree National Park, we are ideally situated in a quiet area with easy access to the ancient rainforest, stunning deserted beaches and the breathtaking wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. ... more   less
