Went for a week and I felt like we were in a 1 star resort! I'll easily break it down because this could be a lengthy review otherwise PROS Its a resort in a hot destination CONS their "Air conditioning" food (spent an extra $1,000 off the resort getting food that was actually editable) Alcohol and drinks were horrid! Bought...

When we booked this resort, as a larger group and travelling during high season (March Break) the biggest selling feature was the price. We were willing to go with a budget style resort if it meant a week in the sun. This review will be a little lengthy but presented in fine detail and please feel free to let me...

We stayed in the Puerto Plata area for 3 weeks in February/March 2017 and spent the last week at the Reef. It was great to be right in Sosua within walking distance of the main Sosua beach and the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the Reef which offered reasonable amenities for a 4 star. We booked an ocean view room...

Lobby is sketchy but once you are through it opens up to a very nice resort - I found most of the entertainment boring compared to other place I've travelled. It rained the first 3 days we were there and well you can't do nothing about mother nature. It would have been nice if they provided umbrellas in the room...

When I stayed at this resort I had the best time of my life, every night. The entertainment staff put on amazing shows at the theatre and under the stars. They have karaoke, dance party's, Latino shows and more. My favourite entertainment worker is Isaac, he came over and sat with me and my mom most nights and made us...

We traveled March 7-14/17 and had a fantastic time! Travel to and from the airport was great and only 15 minutes! Check in was busy but easy! Our only preferences were a clean room, decent food, feeling safe on the resort, great service and lots of sun! This resort did not disappoint! There is no free wifi however we did...

Casa Marina Beach and Reef Resort in Sosua, Dominican Republic was okay. We went with a group of 6 and requested 3 rooms close together, 2 rooms with a king bed and one room with 2 separate beds. We had paid an upgrade price for Ocean views when we booked our reservation. Upon arrival we were separated in different buildings...

The resort was great! Employees very nice and always willing to help. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because not all the buildings have elevators so you have to take the stairs if you're on the 4th floor. So don't forget anything if you're leaving your room. Plenty of places to go right off the resort and gift...
