The staff were incredible - all of them! The people serving at the buffet, grill, restaurant, snack bar, bars, concierge, etc. were super friendly. The Chocolate Friends entertainers were so fun and funny. They made the experience the best. We loved this place so much! Waking up in the morning every day to make a reservation at the restaurant was worth it for the dining experience upstairs. We ordered wine on a couple of nights; the prices are reasonable. The young woman who made us omelettes in the mornings always had a big smile on her face when she saw us. She was the same person who made the pasta dishes at lunch. Nelly, the bartender, was also very special to us. The Chocolate Friends entertainers: Cesar, Gisele, and Victor were a blast to play games with. Hotel's Favorite
We stayed the first week in April, flew out of Winnipeg with Sunwing direct to Punta Cana. Check in was very smooth and front counter staff were very friendly. We had some difficulty finding our room but a very helpful bellboy lead us to the proper building and room. We were in room S321, amazing ocean/pool view, freshly renovated. Only downfall to the room was lack of storage or extra seating. There were no dressers or chairs in room, but a patio set on balcony Lighting in bathroom was not bright enough for make up application, or so I am told by my wife. The food at the buffet was excellent, fresh omelette every morning, and a pasta bar every night as well as other dishes. Al a cartes were great, unfortunately you need to be up early to book each day, one feature a lot of resorts do, but should change in my opinion. We did pay extra to have the lobster dinner, it was well worth the 45usd. Emily and Ronald treated us great, with excellent service and attention! The beach and pool are both amazing, palm trees on beach allow for lots of shade and there was never a search for loungers poolside or on the beach. Drinks are very well made, and lots of options. We enjoyed evenings sitting near the garden bar having a Mojito or Pina Colada. They definitely need some more patio sets near the garden bar when the resort fills up. Staff here are all very friendly and happy to assist . Facilities are kept very clean, both inside and out. The resort does need a map or more information as to where things are located. These people were super nice,Jose Febles,Karina,Danko,Lorenza,Noelia,Jose vicente,Wilson,Awilda,Manuel,camilo,and Sauris. We love the way these employees treated us and we believe they deserve Tobe recognize. We stayed only two days in this hotel and will comeback only for the way these employees treated us.

My experience was lovely everyone was nice but if you want to be treated like royalty go to one of their restaurant called Rigoletto Kilsy Oliver& Hector made our experience so wonderful, before we even asked for 2nds on our drinks they already had it coming I give them 100 % .. I felt like a Queen. On they other hand the Dominican restaurant they had there took 46 just to bring us an appetizer I was so upset I give them a 5 on that, the captain of that restaurant was rude and not being fair in my eyes, we got there before other people and they had their stuff out before ours … but overall everyone did great … I will be coming back .. I loved that I made friends on my stay with people all over… unlimited drinks , party and games with prizes (I won) , but check out was horrible… there was 4 people at front desk and none of them was trying to attend and a big line forming behind me … multiple people tried to speak including myself… having places to be but they ignored us all 0 for them …

We write this with heavy hearts. After being long time members of International Vacation Club, with Coral Costa Caribe as our home base, we are not returning to the Coral in the future. The renovations to the rooms are beautiful, as is the Buffet area. However, as IVC members we have lost privileges at the Coral following the reopening. No more special area for dining in the Buffet, no more special area on the beach. We don’t think it is fair or right to take benefits away from loyal members. The loss of a gift shop- where foreign currency could be exchanged, along with being to buy DR trinkets is great too. We love the beautiful beach, but we won’t be back!

The staff are super friendly, not too crowded, the rooms very clean, the food is just right at the main dinning room (Kenia, Victoria, Jennifer and Sylvia) will make sure you have a great start to your day with their friendly smile, the beach is beautiful and the waves are just enough too let you enjoy the water.

This was a stop over hotel for us and we stayed two night. What I liked best was that it was relaxed and uncomplicated. The beach and pool were really nice and they had just redone the lobby bar and the rooms (small and basic, but in clean and in good repair). The worst thing for sure about this place was the food. Not much choice and it wasn't very good. If we had a quick stop in this area, we would stay again, but I wouldn't stay a week here.

Excellent service. The animators were the most energetic throughout all three days. They found different games with prices to keep guest entertained. I stayed 2 nights, 3 days and participated in every single game in they presented. I will definitely recommend and come again.

Food was great, staff was great, room was beautiful and the whole resort was very clean. Only complaint is the casino is long closed and so are some of the other amenities across the street. There is only 2 a la carte restaurants, the tex mex one above the buffet and the grill down near the beach. Other resorts I've been too have had way more food options. Looks like they did have more at one time maybe but they're no longer available. Would go back again if I have the chance. Only other complaint is the staff at the pool bar isn't very attentive on the swim up side so we had to get out of the pool a few times to stand and get drinks on the other side but that's minor. There were also a ton of locals with day passes on the weekend and it made it very hectic there, they didn't seem the most considerate with waiting in lines etc. so it was a bit of an inconvenience that they flood it with locals on weekends.…
