We have the best location and price in Cabarete. A very nice pool and relaxing garden, 100 meters to beach and grocery store, quiet at night, cosy atmosphere for couples, families and singles. Good security. The owners live here and really take care of their guests! Studios with kitchens and some rooms with ocean view! Orthopaedic quality mattresses. Kite and wind surf package deals. Our 75 positive reviews say it all! Book with confidence and book early as we do at times send guests to other hotels when we are full.

I'm really glad I found Casa Blanca Hotel. Its in the perfect location, right beside the main grocery store, as well as at the beginning/(or end) of the beach bar/restuarant strip. The hotel is budget style so don't expect luxury, however for the travellers that are ok with budget, its great. I stayed for 1 month, and will return again. The staff (Justin ) is very helpful and quick to response to any inquiries you may have.

First let me say, I completely adore Cabarete and highly recommend that travelers visit. This was my fourth visit to the town and certainly won't be my last! This review is absolutely no reflection on the Cabarete community. I noticed Casa Blanca by chance the last time I was here and thought I'd give it a try, attracted to its quiet location and low price. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed by my experience, especially compared to other reasonably priced places in the area that I find far more comfortable. It was the end of the tourist season, so it's possible the staff was just tired at that point. Regardless, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not return. When I first arrived, I noticed a little trash and cooking tools on the ground and stair in the courtyard that I moved myself for safety. I asked for a room with a balcony but noticed that the plumbing was totally shot in that room (spitting sink, malfunctioning toilet, and leaky shower). The kind and accommodating manager, Justin, moved me to a ground level room that had significant electrical problems and inconsistent WiFi signal. I was happy that the hot water worked well, but the cold water faucet did not, nor did the lockbox safe. The ceiling fan did not work, so I had to use two floor fans, one of which was wildly loud and disturbed my sleep. For privacy on the ground level, I had to keep all the windows covered all the time, which felt depressing and claustrophic. I also found a little cucaracha friend one night. Overall, the property is just rundown and in need of updating. The location is great, so maybe the owner will make improvements in the future.

You want a budget hotel with incredible low prices. The other 98% of the reviews are positive. So it is about you not the hotel. WIFI is not a problem. The manager makes his living online. VOIP. Impossible if WIFI a probpem. We gave you TWO FANS - and you complain anbout the ceiling fan. We moved you around as you are the HM clients we get sometimes. ( High Maintenance ) For privacy yes, close your curtains please. Thank you :) . "which felt depressing and claustrophobic" ( Sounds like a personal problem) "I also found a little cucaracha friend one night." ( Such is life even in a $120 a night place next door. This is the DOMINICAN. Expect it!) The cooking tools were for the free BBQ we give to guests. You are welcome! Not all are considerate in cleaning up after themselves. We do what we can. A leaky shower? LOL - now that is good for a laugh. Better than a dry shower which can happen in the Dominican. This is a 3rd world country in transition. This is part of the charm. "the plumbing was totally shot in that room" Basically a LIE, or gross exaggeration as is most of the review. If the plumbing was totally shot we would not have the 98% great reviews. What does happen here my dear, this is the Dominican, the city turns the water off for a day at a time and air gets into the pipes. After a few minutes it is not a problem. You could have said that in your so-called "review". If the water was a problem how could you say you lied the hot water??????? So glad 98% of our guests appreciate our very low price, the great deal, and how we do our best for people - even you - to move you around and give you a free upgrade and give you more fans to make you happy. In your case it did not work. SORRY! Folks - you know how to read ALL the reviews. See you soon if we have room. We do get a lot of bookings...

Spend 5 Weeks @ Casa Blanca, cabarete for surfing and the dominican lifestyle. Beautiful place at 10 mins from encuentro beach by the famous GuaGua (25pesos/ride). This hôtel welcomes longterm guests, so there's a respect between guests like you're at home with your neighbours. Peaceful, quiet and lots of fun. Justin and William are always There to check-up on you to make sure you have all you need and that you know your way around the Little tricks of the Trade around town. I'll be back for an other surfing and resting vacation. Thanks boys
