Though this might sound like a serviced apartment, it is more of a posh apart-hotel and comes loaded with top-notch amenities - from high-end kitchen fittings to chic bathrooms. A great option to chill out for the long term with stunning beach views and access. LOCATION: Located right on the Beachfront. DINE + DRINK: Lovely beachfront cafe/bar which is perfect for a sunrise coffee or a Sunset drink ROOM: We stayed in Unit B201, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Distant, but stunning view of the ocean; SIZE: Spacious with a huge living room, big kitchen area, and a grand bedroom; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality cosmetics by Damano FACILITIES: No gym, but they have a sweet pool closer to the beach. My girlfriend and I just returned from a short stay at Ultravioleta. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the residences. The superior department was well apportioned, very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Everyone on the grounds was courteous and helpful. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

In trying to avoid the crowds at the larger resorts in Puerto Plata, I opted for this boutique property in Cabarete. What a find! I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay or had a more perfect experience. Beginning with my original inquiry about the property, Alondra was responsive and provide great information. Booking was easy and she took care of a number of details - both transportation and excursions. She is truly a gem. I stayed in a 2-bedroom penthouse unit, which was far more spacious than I imagined. The living area was on one floor (along with a comfortable patio area) and the 2nd level contained the rooftop, with a couch, table, lounge chairs, a bathroom/shower and a jacuzzi. The area is not covered for rain but perfect on a clear evening, with views of the ocean and nearby property. The unit had all of expected amenities and was very comfortable. We opted to alternate between cooking in the full kitchen and dining out. A great option to have and everything you need to make it home is included. The location is perfect as well. Walking along the beach, gives you access to several restaurants that are part of other resorts. A quick taxi ride puts you in a very busy area of shops and restaurants. A block off the main street, you can also find some wonderful places to eat and shop that feel a bit more local. There is also easy access to both Sosua and Puerto Plato proper. Great location, the beach is wide, walking distance(via beach) to a good restaurant. Spacious apartment with en suite rooms. It is a residence, so do not expect fast room service. Friendly. Beach si great, I would come here again. Quiet area.

We stayed in Ultravioleta for two weeks. We rented a apartment with pool and had great time👌🌴☀️. The apartment was perfect, clean, big and near the beach. We had support from the stuff. Especially Miss. Alondra. She is the nicest person ever 😊. We felt welcomed, safe an special 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝👏 If you’re going with family I really recommend this place 👌🌴☀️

Stop looking, you found it! We had an excellent experience at Ultravioleta and highly recommend the property and Cabarete as a whole. From Alondra before arrival and at check in, to the groundskeepers, to the security guards, service was simply top notch with all requests being met with a gracious smile! The beach security guard even taught my 10 month old son to fist bump :-) The complex was very well maintained, the rooms kept spotless by the cleaning ladies, and all the facilities were top notch. For us the only weak point would be the food options on property which were only average, but there are lots of good restaurants in walking distance via the beach. Great care was shown in respect to Covid, with masks being worn by both guests and staff. Yes the beach is windy every day, but the kitesurfing taking place directly in front of the hotel is free entertainment. In summary: right on the beach, great service, spacious apartment style rooms- what more can you ask for?…

We stayed at the Ultravioleta for 5 nights. to premises was just perfect, the room completely amazing and the staff always friendly and helpful!! special thanks to Adrian how did everything to make our stay even better!! we will definitely go back.... the kite spot is great, be careful not to go in the fire coral to the left. ask the locals!

Our family’s six day stay at Ultravioleta Residences was terrific because it’s a well designed, modern and well kept property that’s in a beautiful, central location on Bozo beach. Restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop and local stores are all easily accessible by walking along the sandy beach front. The assistant manager Adrian along with all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a great kiteboarding spot and we loved having evening drinks at the beachfront bar after our days on the water and at the beach. Best of all is Cabarete’s laidback Caribbean vibe. We can’t wait to go back!

Don’t even know where to start - from the time we looked at booking months in advance Adrian answered all my questions and made us feel at ease - this was our first non all inclusive resort trip with the family. He arranged everything to make it easy - transport from the airport and a stop at the grocery store to get some basics. The hotel is amazing and beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. Our room was huge and gorgeous. Beds are super comfortable The real reason that this hotel is so great is the people - they make you feel like family - we already mentioned Adrian who is always there to help. The beach bar staff Jose and allandra we great - our three kids loved being able to go up to bar and get a drink and some great food to snack on. Our house keeper Dilenia was outstanding- always so happy and cheerful - the little extras she did for us and the kids were always looked forward to at the end of the day coming back to the hotel. Cabarete itself is also such a great spot - very quite beach - great waves to play in and also we were able to watch the amazing kite surfing right out the door We will defiantly be back - hopefully sooner versus later…
