We try to enjoy different places every morning for coffee and breakfast after the gym and this was a real find. For sure its weathered as its on the ocean, but the food was fresh, fast and healthy, the service attentive and with lots of smiles. The coffee was fresh, hot and local.

This review is long overdue. I went to extreme in January after some trepidation. It worked out great, lost some weight, got fit, met some good people, ate well and relaxed. I was a solo traveler which was fine.I did 2 sessions of yoga a day (never done it before) and one personal training session a day. Jeremy pitched the training at the right level and Patricia got me into yoga. Vickie convinced me that 8.30am is not too early for exercise although Greg couldn't quite convince me to do the high wire but was an excellent dinner companion. None judged me on my Cabarete tattoo (aka motor bike burn). Robbie's got a great hotel and excellent team in place. Not sure what else there is to say. Highly recommend to folks although it wont suit those that are spoilt, are jerks or want a Sandals hotel!.

I went March Break for a week. As I have to travel then I was expecting business but I found myself chillin and blissed out! The hotel is right on the beach, about a 20 min walk to town. I appreciate the distance from town to keep it quiet. You can hear the road a bit. Rooms are simple and clean, an eco hotel. You have everything you need and you will not spend your time in your room. The property felt secure and the rooms had an iron gate as well. (Way more secure than places I have been to in Mexico.) Vicky will answer all your questions right from the get go and do your bookings when you are there. I was a solo women traveler and had no problem meeting people. You eat dinner together after yoga and Vicki introduces you. (Although you could be on your own if you wanted.) The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. You ordered your breakfast the day before. You also get a different fresh smoothie daily. I alternated between surfing and trapeze followed by an evening yoga class every day. My yoga instructor Moraima was great, she would incorporate your requests into the class. I love her moon salutation. Evening yoga was a slow flow with restorative poses. Her hands on adjustments feel awesome. I loved the health and fitness vibe. I would totally recommend this hotel and I plan on bringing the family back!

Love this place. Robbie, Vicki and Patricia are amazing. All questions answered, all the staff are helpful. This place has it all, Circus school, crossFit gym (Jeremy is a wonderful trainer). A yoga loft facing the ocean and a 5 star restaurant on the beach. The hotel is clean and simple. Extreme is eco friendly, housekeeping every other day. This place is the best place to chill. The town is a about 20 minutes along the beach. Much to see and do If you can do the river float at Taino Farm do it, it is a peaceful trip with lush surroundings.

I went to the Extreme Hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of March on a solo Yoga/Trapeze program. In a nutshell: it was amazing! The hotel is ideally situated right on the beach. The view from the Yoga Loft is pure bliss and all of the yoga instructors delivered consistently amazing classes. I took 2 classes per day, most of which were with Moraima who is an amazing, amazing teacher. The hotel is very well run - kudos to Vicki, who from the very first email was always available and super, super lovely to deal with. The food is out of this world - a different smoothie everyday, amazing breakfast and dinner options (my one regret was not getting to try all the breakfast options...) and all set in a super relaxed, warm, lovely setting. Great job to the Hotel's owner, Robbie, for taking the property off the grid, setting an amazing vibe and hiring great staff. I would not hesitate to recommend the Extreme Hotel and the Yoga Loft and very much look forward to returning there myself.
