Had an amazing stay. Beautiful beaches and amazing staff. Had so much fun dancing with the activities people and watching them interact with all the guests. I got to freshen up my Spanish with Naya and had many great conversations with her and the other activities staff. It was nice to see them all so involved throughout the day. The people really made the stay so great.

First time visiting this resort with a Beautiful view from our ocean view room. The resort grounds are small and everything is close walking distance and the beach is breathtaking. It was so cool to see watch the kite surfers on the beach! The activities people were so inviting and down to earth. They have made our stay so amazing. It’s the first resort I have been to that they were as involved with the people. Having them in the disco was so much fun it made it stand out from any other resort. Naya was my favourite as she was so kind! If you go visit make sure you chat with her :)

Had a wonderful time at Viva Tangerine. Our room was ready when we arrived before check in time. We were on the second floor of the main building with a view of the walk way with a glimpse of the pool and ocean.Room was very clean,fridge had water and two double beds.Air worked very well ,shower as well.The only problem we had was getting enough towels for three people.Tv wasn't great but they fixed it for us . The food was good,always something to eat.Lots of chicken and pork chops .The resort was just starting to get busy so no line ups except weekends when the locals came in. The grounds were well kept,the water in the pool was clear,ocean pretty wavy.We walked the beach both ways and very safe. There are a lot of venders waiting for you to step out of the property to sell everything and are very persistent.Also the time share people within the resort. Bar staff were wonderful making sure everyone stayed in line,not butting in.Drinks were inconsistent and not very strong. Enjoyed the games with the staff ,lots of fun and one day a great foam party and water balloon fight in the pool. The staff worked very hard in the night shows, The rock show was great as was the Michael Jackson show. We never encountered any staff who wasn't pleasant except the time share girl I think her name was Eva who wasn't happy we didn't buy! We went to both a la carte restaurants and I preferred the buffet over both.You book using a QR code . There are lots of lounge chairs in the sun or shade.There could be more rest rooms available.There were only a couple close by and one of the ladies was being repaired by the small pool. There was no real faults with anything ,weather great,staff wonderful,guests all around happy!! Dominican Republic is always a great vacation and I will return again!!…

We visited November 21-28 2023 as a family of 6. The buffet had different options everyday even including lobster paella one evening. No one in our family had any tummy troubles from the food. The snack bar had a good selection of hotdogs, burger, nachos & cheese, fries, fresh cut fruit and many veggies and was open 20 hours a day it seemed. The drinks at the bar are very light in strength but the bartenders are amazing… including Randy who was constantly clearing empty cups from the tables. The disco in the evenings kept the 18 year olds entertained as they had a club scene. We liked that the resort was not difficult to navigate and beach to front lobby is a 3-4 minute walk with smaller kids. I noticed the property was accessible also. The best part of this resort is the entertainment staff. They are incredibly hardworking and friendly. From the first day I noticed Forrest, he was checking that the children in the pool were at a safe depth. This is the first time I’ve seen this level of care and safety at a resort pool. Forrest always was smiling and wishing us a good day in the mornings. I felt at peace with Forrest keeping a watchful eye on the children swimming. Next we have Pirri, he is a fantastic human that made us feel like family. The younger kids loved dancing and playing bingo with Pirri and the older ones loved the disco because of him- he brings the party, fun and passion. It was very hard to say goodbye to Pirri as he felt like family. Thanks to Sia, Winnie, Minnie, Mr cirque soleil and all the others for making our days fun! The beach has really big waves each day and it’s true the blue shirt beach vendors are out in full force trying to sell items to you constantly… but it’s a public beach and has nothing to do with the hotel it seemed. The photo services were amazing, we got a lot of professional level family photos. We would definitely return especially if these entertainment staff members are there. …

I was getting married and I had my friends and family stay at this resort. It had a LOT of amenities…The resort included flies all over your food, it included creepy staff members that were harassing the females in our group, it included dirty cloudy pools with a dead crab in there… it was definitely ALL inclusive. Do NOT STAY Here. Do not eat the food at the buffet unless you want to see flies doing it on the bread and then going for another round on the desserts… our bathroom was okay but the doors were hanging off the hinge so at some point the glass could hit the wall and shatter. There was an odd moldy smell in some of my friends’ rooms. I can go on about how much else was wrong but the icing on the fly infested cake was the “repair man” visiting my female friend’s room at 12am to “fix” the AC unannounced and unscheduled. We ended up having to call the police.. as scary as all of this was, there were a few staff members that were very nice and helpful… but yeah don’t even bother staying here. The Wi-Fi is as good as the food at this resort so you might as well use your phone’s internet.…

Excellent service, I will come again because of Jessica. She was really lovely, attentive and courteous, Luis and Nehemias were outstanding, Ricardo was amazing too, thank you so much to Estefany, Fior, Winiphert and Ms. Marcos, they made my vacation comfortable, I definitely will come back! We absolutely loved this place so many great smiling faces and the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back to the people who complain maybe they should stay home these people are so nice and work so hard very appreciative of this and we will 100 percent be back! The bathrooms were all clean and the grounds we are off resort at jeirges was great did the buggie tour and some snorkeling we had an great time! From the security front desk to the cooks servers and bartenders they were the best and all so nice and welcoming! The guy he books excursions there talk to him he’s great! And the bar Ruth rhishari Ariana Frances there are too many to mention we had a great holiday thank you! Ps do the professional photos on the beach they were great and we have some amazing memories saved

Pros - Friendly staff and nice beach. Location - 30mins from POP airport and right on beach. Cons- 4 of the 6 family members traveling got sick. Have to believe the food was the cause and it wasn't great. - No hot water in shower - ant infestation in our bathroom - disguise a "club" presentation as a VIP lunch. - only one bar open during entire stay - no lifejackets for use - Public washrooms weren't well kept - wait staff service in restaurants wasn't very good - bar was beside buffet area and smoking in bar often carried over to buffet area.

Let me begin by saying there is nothing really special about this place,but it is worth visiting Been to the DR probably 30 times over the last 20 years and I would come back That being said is a a quick point review Service very good pretty much everywhere Bartenders were probably the most kind and friendly I have ever been served by Rooms were slightly disappointing and in need of some updating but we slept well without any problems Resort is smallish and nothing is very far to walk to or from Beach to lobby takes less than 3 minutes 3 a la cartes and the Italian and Mexican were slightly above average Buffet was fairly repetitive but good and clean Almost always hot food Beach is slightly above average for the DR with large enough waves Lots of chairs by the beach yo lounge Pool was clean and large Only real complaint is there is only 1 bar for the entire resort When this place gets busier in high season I am sure it takes 5-10 mins to get served …
