My wife and I stayed at Natura Cabana for six days. When we first arrived there were many couples there. However within a day or two there were many families. The resort always seemed peaceful and uncrowded. The resort was spacious and even when they were fully occupied it really felt almost like it was our own private resort.

The beach was just a 15 or 20 second walk from our cabana. My wife went to yoga in the morning, which was a 15 or 20 second walk, likewise breakfast lunch and dinner were all 10 or 15 second walk away. The beaches were beautiful and uncrowded. We spent many hours reading on lounge chairs provided by the resort. We walked up and down the beaches, swam, watched surfers and kite boarders. We also spent many, many hours on the deck of our cabana reading. There was a very consistent breeze and just being there was very relaxing.

Yoga was great. The yoga temple was beautiful, spacious and had a great view of the ocean. My wife was very happy with the instructors. There were two restaurants right next to each other, the setting was magical and the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent overall. We will definitely return to this unique and beautiful place.

I was looking for yoga classes in the area when to my surprise I found Natura Cabana! The yoga classes are at least twice a day, sometimes three and I attended quite a few (special recognition to Melanie)! Much to my husband's and my surprise Natura Cabana was much more. We enjoyed numerous breakfasts, lunches and dinners along with massages and use of the beach. Everything was excellent. All the staff at this lovely resort were excellent and responsive. If my husband and I return to this area I would definitely consider staying at this hotel.

Dear Bob Thank you Very Much for this review. I was so lucky to see you this morning before you were leaving Natura and as you Mention, the Country. Thank you in Melanie's name, I will share this message with her, she will love it. And of course Bob, with this beautiful Yoga Temple, and this wonderful teachers, with that view of the Ocean, we really need to have as much options as we can to use it, so people would be able to enjoy it at all times. Our Staff would always remember you, very gentile people. And never forget, as we said. Now you know were you going to stay next time. Thank you very much Mr. Bob, An honor to meet you both.

This place was simply beautiful. Every cabin was different, made with materials from the area. My room was sooo cool with a lot of wood and lattice with screens instead of glass, so I could hear the rain. The staff was so accommodating. They remembered our names and rooms which made it easy to charge things to our room. The food was great, and they had delicious banana mama drinks that I’ve been missing. There are so many cool activities you can do nearby. I’ll never forget this place. Everything was wonderful.

Heard about this place and purchased a day-pass to have lunch, use the pool and spend time on the beach. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere very ‘native’ and ‘eco’. The lunch was mostly good, but my sister’s shrimp were soft and soggy, and didn’t taste fresh. After lunch we went to the pool because the water was too rough on the beach and the red flag was out (which we were told was fairly typical). The pool was small, had sand in the corners of the stairs and was right beside a children’s play area, which was noisy. We wanted quiet and left after a few minutes. Again, the staff was really nice and called a cab for us. Loved the people but wasn’t impressed by the facilities.

Dear Crista Dear Crista Sister. Thank you very much for your review and letting us know about your experience. We are very sorry for your experience and that of your sister, usually the comments of our food have been excellent. but as everywhere, we are always at risk. An unfortunate misunderstanding on the Beach, regularly the tide on the North Coast is always irregular, that morning was dangerous to go in. Natura Cabana has always a great experience for all, without limits, such a short visit of just a few hours is not a real experience in Natura. If you are still in the North Coast in the Dominican Republic we invite you to spend the whole day in Natura, please experience all our services, all the amenities, stroll through the organic garden, stay for a Yoga class, or a Pilafit class, try yourself in our Beach Gym, you can have a SPA treatment right in front of the Ocean, Meet Antonio, Mixologist at Sunbar, right in front of the ocean, meet our Enchanting Manager Melanie, go through Natura, take a look to our Rooms with tropical elegant deco, come and experience a full day, so you can rewrite your comment, Natura awaits you. Thanks again.

Such a helpful and friendly staff! Cool uniquely build cabanas. Two restaurants on-site serve very fresh, very deliciously prepared choices. Halfway between Cabarete and Sosua by taxi, 25-minute walk to Encuentro beach surf shack. Enjoy!

Just returned from a week at Natura Cabana and like previous reviewers, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Coral, which was clean and has a lovely upstairs porch for looking out on palm trees and geckos. The restaurants served healthy and delicious food; service from everyone was excellent. We appreciated the daily tending of the resort grounds and constant surveillance from the security staff. The beach is beautiful but a bit too rough for us to go in beyond our knees. This was the perfect spot to get away from screens and other electronic distractions.

Travelled with a friend and spent a week at Natura cabana. Ideally situated in Perla Marina between Sosua and Cabarete, it offers tranquility and great walking paths while offering close proximity to the towns and walking to the mercado for beers and snacks. The two bdrm bungalow near the pool was very clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. The ocean there is a bit rough but great if you enjoy playing in the waves. Only 12 bungalows nestled in a private residential area meant you could easily carve out a quiet place for yourself on the beach at the hotel or on nearby almost deserted beaches. Did a few excursions: hired Max, taxi driver, who took us to Puerto Plata for the day, did SUP with Rugama Tours on the quiet river and ate a sumptuous lunch there and went into Cabarete for an afternoon to watch the kite surfers and partake in happy hour! We did one morning yoga class which we totally enjoyed. Breakfast and lunch were both really good, the coffee delicious. We also enjoyed the pizza at the Ceiba Cafe, a short walk away. The staff are amazing and dedicated and will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your vacation. Highly recommend this place! :)

I just spent 4 days in Natura Cabana which has become one of my favorite places in the Dominican Republic. The food is the best I have ever had in my five trips to this country. They have their own organic garden and the salads were very fresh and tasty. Try the acai bowl for lunch which was delicious. The staff is very friendly and remembers your name and room number as soon as you check in. Our cabana, Piedra was nicely appointed. The beach was nicer than expected with very few other people around. I walked 25 minuted every day to take surf lessons with Chino's Surf School. Thewalk was beautiful. The wifi was spotty in the rooms but worked well in the restaurant. If you are looking for a large all inclusive resort this place is not for you. If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and terrific food I highly recommend Natura Cabana.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little serene beach location. The setting was nestled on the beach with enough tree-lined area to stay out of the sun when needed. Between this and the adjacent hotel, 4 different areas to eat and get drinks right on the beachfront. Stone huts were lovely, ours had an outdoor living room overlooking the shaded pool. Food was great at both restaurants and breakfast was included in our price. Yoga hut, outdoor funny gym, and a beachfront trail to walk down to other beaches. Staff was great and very friendly.

We walked into Natura Cabana and were greeted with the quietest, most peaceful environment I've ever experienced for a beachside hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool and beach are heavenly. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and connected us to a fantastic guide for beach and waterfall excursions. I also loved the massage and we enjoyed our restaurant meals. You definitely have to be comfortable with no air conditioning, and waiting for hot water, and we used the mosquito nets over the beds to avoid some small flying friends (not mosquitoes) landing on us when the lights were out. Overall, I loved this place and would happily return for a relaxing stay in paradise.

No A/C's, ceiling fans around and basically everything - whole place - is open to the air. I am used to A/C generally, but I quite enjoyed not having artificial temperature ... for few days...
