Just returned from a visit to this magical place where I go with friends for a week long yoga retreat every year. Words fail! Everything about Natura Cabana in the D.R. is perfect - the location right on the beach, the accommodations, the spectacular food, the amenities and possibly most of all, the staff. They treat their guests like family and this year they went above and beyond when one of us had to go to the hospital with pneumonia and had to stay for a few days after we left. Before she left for the hospital, staff were going to visit her in her cabana, bringing her soups and juice and tea. The manager has been visiting her every day since we left, bringing her meals and moral support and letting her know that she is cared for after the rest of us returned home. I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you to everyone at our little corner of paradise for your kindness and concern. For sure we will be back next year.

I was looking for yoga classes in the area when to my surprise I found Natura Cabana! The yoga classes are at least twice a day, sometimes three and I attended quite a few (special recognition to Melanie)! Much to my husband's and my surprise Natura Cabana was much more. We enjoyed numerous breakfasts, lunches and dinners along with massages and use of the beach. Everything was excellent. All the staff at this lovely resort were excellent and responsive. If my husband and I return to this area I would definitely consider staying at this hotel.

Dear Bob Thank you Very Much for this review. I was so lucky to see you this morning before you were leaving Natura and as you Mention, the Country. Thank you in Melanie's name, I will share this message with her, she will love it. And of course Bob, with this beautiful Yoga Temple, and this wonderful teachers, with that view of the Ocean, we really need to have as much options as we can to use it, so people would be able to enjoy it at all times. Our Staff would always remember you, very gentile people. And never forget, as we said. Now you know were you going to stay next time. Thank you very much Mr. Bob, An honor to meet you both.

Heard about this place and purchased a day-pass to have lunch, use the pool and spend time on the beach. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere very ‘native’ and ‘eco’. The lunch was mostly good, but my sister’s shrimp were soft and soggy, and didn’t taste fresh. After lunch we went to the pool because the water was too rough on the beach and the red flag was out (which we were told was fairly typical). The pool was small, had sand in the corners of the stairs and was right beside a children’s play area, which was noisy. We wanted quiet and left after a few minutes. Again, the staff was really nice and called a cab for us. Loved the people but wasn’t impressed by the facilities.

Dear Crista Dear Crista Sister. Thank you very much for your review and letting us know about your experience. We are very sorry for your experience and that of your sister, usually the comments of our food have been excellent. but as everywhere, we are always at risk. An unfortunate misunderstanding on the Beach, regularly the tide on the North Coast is always irregular, that morning was dangerous to go in. Natura Cabana has always a great experience for all, without limits, such a short visit of just a few hours is not a real experience in Natura. If you are still in the North Coast in the Dominican Republic we invite you to spend the whole day in Natura, please experience all our services, all the amenities, stroll through the organic garden, stay for a Yoga class, or a Pilafit class, try yourself in our Beach Gym, you can have a SPA treatment right in front of the Ocean, Meet Antonio, Mixologist at Sunbar, right in front of the ocean, meet our Enchanting Manager Melanie, go through Natura, take a look to our Rooms with tropical elegant deco, come and experience a full day, so you can rewrite your comment, Natura awaits you. Thanks again.

We had been told that the food and service were outstanding at this place. Unfortunately - we did not agree. The view was stunning and the drinks were very good. Our meal was a bit disappointing - we had the pork which had good flavor but was so over cooked that it was dry; and, the Risotto - which was excellent. The bread they served was good but the dip had very little flavor. They should provide either butter or olive oil as an alternate. Service was marginal - at first it seemed good, but once we got our food - we were totally ignored. It was a good experience, but it will not be a top favorite in Cabarete. Our top choices would be TUVA and BLISS.

Dear Peter We greatly appreciate your comments, this information has been shared with the kitchen staff in the restaurant. We have reviewed the process one by one in the meal and in the service, corrective actions would be taken, we are very sorry for this situation, in the future, allow us the opportunity to serve you again and make for this experience the true one of Natura Cabana. Peter, thank you very much.

My girlfriends and I had a blast! It’s def a no frills type of place. But we were fine with that. Food was great, Danny at the bar was a blast, great spa services, and Chantal was so helpful with booking any taxis and things we needed! Will def go back.

Dear Bkro Nothing more accurate than your words. The world of tourism has redefined the word luxury, frills, at least on leisure trips; luxury now refers to have opportunity to experience nature, culinary experiences, the experience of contact with the warmth of people. Like Dani at the Beach Bar , our facilities are Rustic and Elegant, they also give an experience of unforgettable luxury, we really appreciate your comment, it is important that our viewers are informed, in Natura Cabana luxury is the experience. Thank you very much for your visit and please contact us directly when you're back.
