What a paradise! Natural Cabana is such a beautiful place with lots of plants that you feel like surrounded by nature but still can enjoy cozy room, delicious food and warm service. I spent 4 nights in Natural Cabana. They gave me the most beautiful one bed cabana I think which can see ocean but still keep some privacy. The décor inside is one of the most beautiful cabanas I have ever stayed at this price. It has a nice kitchen, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. I really like its white stone walls which give the room an earthy charm that connects you to the nature. This was my first and only trip that I stayed at one place for a few days without planning any activities and it allowed me to enjoy fully what Natural Cabana offered. The food provided by both restaurants were fabulous. I tried 3 different breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The organic garden salad was so fresh with tasty dressing. The churrasco was very tender and well seasoned. Breakfast were all provided in big portion. I really like traditional breakfast with Dominican salami and Mangú, and also omelette. I took yoga classes in 3 mornings to start a day and it was so nice to be companied by sounds of ocean waves and singing of thrushes and bananaquits. I also tried spa once and I was not sure if it was my imagination but I felt some of the mosquito bites on my legs became smaller and not itchy next day. And yes the only problem was mosquitos so make sure you bring mosquito repellent or you can buy one from their shop. I was so glad to find Natural Cabana and it was the only reason I chose to go to the northern beach because most of resorts in Dominican Republic are very modern and artificial which don’t fit my taste. Natural Cabana provided calm and peace that I was looking for to really clear my mind and recharge for my next life challenge. I really appreciated the staff’s effort to keep it a charming gateway to soothe a traveler’s heart and soul.

We walked into Natura Cabana and were greeted with the quietest, most peaceful environment I've ever experienced for a beachside hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool and beach are heavenly. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and connected us to a fantastic guide for beach and waterfall excursions. I also loved the massage and we enjoyed our restaurant meals. You definitely have to be comfortable with no air conditioning, and waiting for hot water, and we used the mosquito nets over the beds to avoid some small flying friends (not mosquitoes) landing on us when the lights were out. Overall, I loved this place and would happily return for a relaxing stay in paradise.

Natura Cabana is an absolute paradise! We came here after many months of stress and it took about 3 hours to just melt into serenity. The commitment to a natural, peaceful experience is obvious from the moment you get there. While the facilities, food and location are all wonderful, what stands out about this place is the people. Everyone - front desk, bartenders , wait staff , spa staff, yoga teachers and maintenance people - are so incredibly friendly and helpful. They all treat you like you are family. From breakfast to yoga to spa treatments to the beach or the pool cocktails to dinner, it is absolute bliss. The accommodations are a perfect reflection of their commitment to the natural surroundings. Comfortable and with everything you need. Take advantage of both the yoga classes and the spa treatments all of which are excellent. You can also easily get to Cabarete for any of their great restaurants but you will be hard pressed to find a better meal then they serve at their restaurant.

5 stars *****!! I just returned from a wonderful week at Natura Cabana! I was on a yoga/pilates retreat and it was so great all around! Everyone at Natura was so accommodating and helpful. They went above and beyond to make me and every guest happy! My cabana was lovely! The food was delicious and so fresh as all the ingredients are from their onsite garden! The salads and veggies were delicious!! The beach is beautiful and So remote you feel like you are on a private beach! I have been on over 25 yoga retreats and have stayed at my Eco- chic resorts, I can't recommend Natura enough! I will definitely return one day soon!!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Today was our second visit to Natura. During this visit, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and some relaxation on the quiet beach that had about six people on it. The chill vibe and peaceful setting provide a natural sanctuary that emits positive energy and wellness. Certainly one of our favourite places on the North Coast of the Dominican that we’ll be visiting often in the future. The only downside for us was the smoking on the premises - particularly in the dining area where three different tables lit up and smoked while we were eating. We’re not accustomed to smoking being permitted in restaurants or anywhere there are children. I would encourage the owners to ban smoking all together and encourage practices that are better aligned with healing and wellness. All in all, a definite must for those who appreciate good food and quiet places.

Just returned from a week at Natura Cabana and like previous reviewers, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Coral, which was clean and has a lovely upstairs porch for looking out on palm trees and geckos. The restaurants served healthy and delicious food; service from everyone was excellent. We appreciated the daily tending of the resort grounds and constant surveillance from the security staff. The beach is beautiful but a bit too rough for us to go in beyond our knees. This was the perfect spot to get away from screens and other electronic distractions.

I just spent 4 days in Natura Cabana which has become one of my favorite places in the Dominican Republic. The food is the best I have ever had in my five trips to this country. They have their own organic garden and the salads were very fresh and tasty. Try the acai bowl for lunch which was delicious. The staff is very friendly and remembers your name and room number as soon as you check in. Our cabana, Piedra was nicely appointed. The beach was nicer than expected with very few other people around. I walked 25 minuted every day to take surf lessons with Chino's Surf School. Thewalk was beautiful. The wifi was spotty in the rooms but worked well in the restaurant. If you are looking for a large all inclusive resort this place is not for you. If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and terrific food I highly recommend Natura Cabana.

I spent a week at Natura Cabanas in October 2021 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Cabarete. The bungalows are all unique and beautiful on the inside & out. There is a yoga shala; they offer 2-3 classes per day and the shala is empty for the remainder of the day for self practice. The restaurant is all local & fresh food - even the bread at dinner is homemade and comes out hot (they even make gluten free bread!). All of my meals were incredible - the seafood was amazing (Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Octopus, Ceviche, etc.) The best part though was the Staff. The men & women who run the restaurants are incredibly kind and sweet. They make sure that you have what you need and are enjoying yourself. I met Lole, the owner, upon arrival and she is fantastic. She gave me activity and local restaurant recommendations (although I only ate at Natura, you won't want to leave). Playa Encuentro is a ~20 minute walk down the beach and is excellent for Surfing. I took a surf lesson at Chino Surf School (you can also rent boards there). Keldwin, who works at the front desk, can help you arrange other activities including Kiteboarding. I took Kite lessons with GoKite Cabarete, which Keldwin helped to arrange for me - I would also highly recommend this option!

Such a helpful and friendly staff! Cool uniquely build cabanas. Two restaurants on-site serve very fresh, very deliciously prepared choices. Halfway between Cabarete and Sosua by taxi, 25-minute walk to Encuentro beach surf shack. Enjoy!
