Just returned from a week at Natura Cabana and like previous reviewers, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Coral, which was clean and has a lovely upstairs porch for looking out on palm trees and geckos. The restaurants served healthy and delicious food; service from everyone was excellent. We appreciated the daily tending of the resort grounds and constant surveillance from the security staff. The beach is beautiful but a bit too rough for us to go in beyond our knees. This was the perfect spot to get away from screens and other electronic distractions.
I just spent 4 days in Natura Cabana which has become one of my favorite places in the Dominican Republic. The food is the best I have ever had in my five trips to this country. They have their own organic garden and the salads were very fresh and tasty. Try the acai bowl for lunch which was delicious. The staff is very friendly and remembers your name and room number as soon as you check in. Our cabana, Piedra was nicely appointed. The beach was nicer than expected with very few other people around. I walked 25 minuted every day to take surf lessons with Chino's Surf School. Thewalk was beautiful. The wifi was spotty in the rooms but worked well in the restaurant. If you are looking for a large all inclusive resort this place is not for you. If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and terrific food I highly recommend Natura Cabana.…
Keldwin at the front desk deserves a major shoutout! he was so friendly in setting up everything and patiently answering a ton of questions. Whole staff is great. Food was great and of course you cant beat the location.
I spent a week at Natura Cabanas in October 2021 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Cabarete. The bungalows are all unique and beautiful on the inside & out. There is a yoga shala; they offer 2-3 classes per day and the shala is empty for the remainder of the day for self practice. The restaurant is all local & fresh food - even the bread at dinner is homemade and comes out hot (they even make gluten free bread!). All of my meals were incredible - the seafood was amazing (Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Octopus, Ceviche, etc.) The best part though was the Staff. The men & women who run the restaurants are incredibly kind and sweet. They make sure that you have what you need and are enjoying yourself. I met Lole, the owner, upon arrival and she is fantastic. She gave me activity and local restaurant recommendations (although I only ate at Natura, you won't want to leave). Playa Encuentro is a ~20 minute walk down the beach and is excellent for Surfing. I took a surf lesson at Chino Surf School (you can also rent boards there). Keldwin, who works at the front desk, can help you arrange other activities including Kiteboarding. I took Kite lessons with GoKite Cabarete, which Keldwin helped to arrange for me - I would also highly recommend this option!…
Such a helpful and friendly staff! Cool uniquely build cabanas. Two restaurants on-site serve very fresh, very deliciously prepared choices. Halfway between Cabarete and Sosua by taxi, 25-minute walk to Encuentro beach surf shack. Enjoy!
Beautiful room, pool, great food at the restaurants, friendly/ helpful staff... the room was cleaned thoroughly every day, easy access to beautiful beaches, spa services were lovely, it was easy to get rides to nearby towns and book excursions! I’d go back in a heartbeat!
This place was simply beautiful. Every cabin was different, made with materials from the area. My room was sooo cool with a lot of wood and lattice with screens instead of glass, so I could hear the rain. The staff was so accommodating. They remembered our names and rooms which made it easy to charge things to our room. The food was great, and they had delicious banana mama drinks that I’ve been missing. There are so many cool activities you can do nearby. I’ll never forget this place. Everything was wonderful.
I have stayed in Natura Cabana two times so far and i have to say that it was love at first sight! The energy of the place is amazing; the style and quality of the accommodation facilities (traditional hat style cabanas), with all the comforts of a high class hotel, but integrated completely with the natural environment; the Eco-friendly culture and products, the beachfront access to the ocean, and the forest around; the friendliness of the staff; the quality of the food, the yoga temple and the yoga and meditation classes; the holistic healing experience in the spa! It is highly recommended and I am only looking forward to go back!
Had a great experience, at this lovely place, it’s the most beautiful and peaceful place I am ever been too, the employer are super nice and friendly the food is great, had a great breakfast, thanks to the reception staff is amazing, Specially (ROSA, the security ) guys are great too. Amazing service. Definitely coming back. ❤️❤️❤️
I went there with my girlfriend for two nights, the service and attention of the entire team was excellent, the area and the atmosphere are incredible, as is the food. Need to have in mind that there are no A/C and is really hot. They don't really have a beach because there are rocks, to get to an area where you can really get in the water, you have to walk for 10-15 minutes. It was very uncomfortable that with the Covid theme, no one who works at the hotel wore a mask, including the owner. And on many occasions they were very close talking to you.
