location: 5 min walk from all the downtown restaurants, 20min walk on the beach to kite beach, <5min from the supermarket service: impecable at all levels restaurant: aqua was perfect for late breakfast before kitesurfing lessons, tapas anytime, great drinks. Staff was friendly and made us feel home immediately. view: can't beat the view of the ocean from the living room/balcony with the kites in the background lovely pool with lounge chairs always available around (this was a busy spring break week) room: OMG, this was a very spacious apartment with big, modern, clean bedroom, living room, kitchen, and balcony. I expected great, we got top notch! excellent kitesurfing school (LEK) just in front of the hotel. This is a residence hotel. One of the apartment was for sale. We were very tempted to buy it! maybe on our next trip... I have traveled all over the world and prefer visiting new places, but felt in love with Cabarete, and the Millenium was definitely an ideal place to stay. Checking how we can come back asap :) Thank you to the entire staff. Just one comment for the owner of 203: the mattress could be changed, this was the only aspects to be improved.…
We arrived Sunday afternoon and were picked up by our driver arranged by the hotel. The Millennium is a wonderful hotel with all the amenities for comfort. Our room was perfect for the two of us, and the view was pure paradise facing the ocean. I am not certain of her title, but Meghan was very knowledgeable of the area and accommodating for all of our needs at the hotel and other activities outside of the hotel. The grounds and the hotel are kept very neat and clean. We had a couples massage at the spa that was very relaxing. Tasty bites and drinks are at the poolside bar and very convenient. As it was our first time Cabarete, we would gladly return! Highly recommend!
I checked in on Monday 2/20/22 room321, I enjoyed the property. Great view of the ocean and kite surfing. The Bar staff is amazing friendly and will go out their way to cater to you. I toured around city to city leaving early morning daily. Mainly coming back to the property to unwind several days went well until .2/23/22 the pool attendant walks over to me and says you cannot be here. In front of a mid aged white couple, the lady even felt insulted. Whats your room number the chairs is for hotel guest only. embarrassing me in front of and white couple. As, if I was not qualified to be on property I gave him my room number he still insist the lounge chairs i could not use. Several minutes later the bartender comes down from the bar and speaks with me. I tell him my interaction with the pool attendant and how he caters too all the other guest.I feel all guest should be treated equal not because the color of your skin. The bartender than brought the pool attendant over to apologize. Which appear to just be a formality not sincere at all. It’s said because I really enjoyed the location and property but staff like this make rating you a 5 star tough. I travel to your country quite frequently staying here again may be a tough opilo to swallow. Jay…
The entire experience from check in to check out was fantastic. Felt safe entering the property with property security measures. Greeted by the GM (Mario Batista) who was hands on and accommodating on all aspects. I was really impressed with how much he was engaged in making sure that we were happy. The receptionists ( Elena,Jamile) worked well together to get us situated in a timely manner. The property itself was immaculate. The pool and overall resort pictures do not show the true beauty of this resort. The restaurant on property had a wide array of foods ranging from local to international options all was fresh and prepared to order. Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner. The Spa was clean and managed by Arelis with a high level of professionalism. My 90 minute message with Anick was really a relaxing experience. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing Upper class resort with all the amenities.…
I was looking for a getaway close to where I live (Haiti) and landed in Caberete. Millennium resort was EXACTLY what I was looking for! The rooms are amazing!!! And so is the view, the pool and the food. Michelle and Wilson provided amazing service at the restaurant/bar. The managers as well - super friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience and I will be back at least once a year. Beautiful, quiet, safe - all around the best I've seen thus far in Cabarete.
We got on a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic and got to Cabarete to David's restaurant at Yalla, and it was an extraordinary experience. Beyond that David made us feel at home and helped us acclimatize in Cabarete. We received amazing service, excellent food and perfect treatment! The best cocktails we've had in Republic. No doubt they know the job! We stayed at an all-inclusive hotel and still preferred to come and sit in the Yalla restaurant. There is no doubt that we will return to the cabaret just for the restaurant!! Thank you all everyone, We enjoyed every moment! :)
I just spent the last 3 weeks at Millennium and I 'm very happy I chose this resort. From the time I arrived until the moment I left I felt well cared for and the team very welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Room was excellent, modern, clean and comfortable and also very quiet which is a must when your aim is to shut off from the world and enjoy a break. The Beach and Pool area is where I spent most of my days relaxing whilst enjoying some cheeky rum cocktails. The restaurant Yalla has a great selection of cocktails and the menu has good choices and never had a bad meal. What made Yalla for me was the team serving, they're a fun team and always made the effort to check I was ok or if I needed a top up! If your looking for a place to relax, this is the resort for you.....just a 5-10 min walk along the beach to bars and restaurant's so you can venture out but Millennium is excellent and has everything you would need......I will be back soon I'm sure.…
Wow, can't begin to describe what a perfect time this was for us. The staff are all so wonderful, the rooms are clean, the views are stunning, the beach is pristine, and the list goes on. Everyone speaks English of course, pero quiero agragecer a todos por hacer estas vacaciones tan perfecto. Gracias Michelle, Miguel, Rafael, y todos los trabajadores q nos sirvieron. Salud, y ojala q verlos a todos pronto!
The hotel is right on the beach and very convenient for water sports including the popular kiteboarding. The property is a bit worn with few room amenities you normally expect in a hotel like coffee and toiletries. Staff is friendly but sometimes needs multiple prompts. We found instructions for room safe and TV lacking. Phone was not intuitive. It is overall clean and safe. Many restaurants along beach in walking distance. Main road is treacherous for walking as sideways don't exist and drivers impatient with motorized and non-motorized traffic. It is probably the best hotel in Cabarete so this is the place to stay.
Cabarete is the Caribbeans best kept secret and Millenium is the perfect boutique hotel. Beautiful comfortable rooms with luxury bedding and balconies, a gorgeous pool right on a magnificent beach. And yallas restaurant served us inredible breakfast drinks and tapas. 20 mins from the airport and everything is so Inexpensive. Forget Miami. 40 extra mins on the plane to the Caribbean. Just perfect.
