The Villa has 6 double rooms all with AC, ceiling fans and free WiFi, 3 rooms have balcony with ocean view, 1 room has an extra sofa bed and 2 rooms can have an extra single bed added. Maximum capacity is 15 Adults . There is an indoor fully equipped kitchen and a gazebo with BBQ and outdoor kitchen area , an indoor living room with TV, A beautiful swimming pool and plunge pool. The villa is 50 meters from a beautiful quite beach which you can see from the villa and we are only 3 miles from Cabarette Center.

This guest house is so peaceful. The comfortable rooms with Balconies and kitchenettes were tastefully decorated and provided a great ocean view. Breakfast was delicious. Prepared by both Digby and Anna. The beach is a wonderful beach if you like to walk for long distances in either direction. Highly recommended!

Brisas Doradas is a wonderful place to stay if you want a place quite with a wonderful beach with almost no people. The rooms are small but confortable, the pool is very clean and the service provided by Anna and Rigby (the owners) makes one feels as if they were family. In a nutshell, I strongly recommend this place for a stay aimed at resting in a quite and familiar ambience.

We decided to stay in Cabarete this time because of the vibe we got a couple of years ago on a previous visit to Sosua, a small beach town just west of Cabarete. Brisas Dorada fit exactly what we were in search of, a quiet, inexpensive trip to relieve the long winter blues and the built-up stress of long workdays. Digby and Anna were perfect hosts. They provided us with breakfasts that kept us filled and satisfied throughout the day. This was a nice plus, since we like to start our days with a fresh meal. They offered a nice variety, no two mornings were the same. Digby made plenty of suggestions of things to go and places to go, which was extremely helpful since we started each day with a blank slate. His suggestions were spot-on. No need to go online, (although you can with their free wi-fi), just let Digby plan your day...!!! Anna was a gracious hostess who offered us a french press for our early morning coffee and beach towels for our walks down to the shore. We met owners Digby and Anna over lunch and learned of their B&B. They are such a lovely couple and their descriptions so interesting that we immediately scheduled breakfast the next morning (we were staying at a house about 10 minutes away). Anna brought out a fruit tray with a delicious tropical assortment while Digby cooked to order eggs, sausage and toast. Afterwards they gave us the grand tour and emphasized the proximity to the beach. What a great morning with friends.

We had got in touch with Digby who is the present owner because we needed a room for the day. Our flight was later at night and we had to vacate our room where we were staying. They had one room left which we utilised for the day and boy did it make a difference. The highlight was probably the level of hospitality. Digby was really kind, he picked us up from our hotel. My son had to leave a few hours earlier and he dropped him off at the airport. He also had to drop us later separately. The room was really clean, it was right at the back and so did not face the beach. There is a nice breeze from the ocean. Whilst we there, our adult sons went swimming, the beach is very private, and just a minute walk from the hotel which is ideal. There are taps/outside showers at different areas of the hotel so you can rinse off. Considering you get picked up and dropped off to the airport- its a great deal. The cab fare to the airport is $35 not including the tip. The hotel is also not too far from the city centre, it might cost you about 100 pesos to get to town, and if Digby is heading that way he would also drop you off, Digby and Anna also provide breakfast. We arrived in the afternoon and were unable to utilise that service. Ana is experienced in doing different therapeutic massages, she has this awesome room which has such a nice energy. I wished I had more time, I would have tried it out. Unfortunately, we were there for just the day, but we were really touched by Digby and Anna's hospitality and good hearts that this review is just a small Thank you to them and we hopefully can try out their B&B on our next visit to DR. My son and I stayed at Brisas Doradas for 5 nights at the end of Semana Santa. Gert and Dulce were amazing hosts! My son is deathly allergic to milk products and Gert and Dulce went out of their way to make sure our vacation was a happy and safe one. Dulce made my son milk free breakfasts every morning. Gert took us to the supermarket twice to get things for my boy to eat. Gert also got my son a treat on one of the days when he was in town. Both Gert and Dulce were happy to provide information about the surrounding towns. Gert even took us sight seeing one day. We are really looking forward to returning next year.

We can’t even begin to say how amazingly kind, helpful, and sweet Dulce and Gert were! From the first emails, to which Gert responded with great speed and clarity, all the way to our friendly farewell, they were awesome! We had become quite lost on our way over from Santiago and, though we were many hours late, Gert generously saved us by driving out to the road and guiding us home. We arrived so late and hungry and Dulce stepped in and gave us a delicious homemade dinner! The room was comfortable and clean, the whole place is very attractive and cute –we slept great. Breakfast was crowned by Dulce’s famous green smoothie – a nutritious and refreshing treat! Highly recommended place to stay in Cabarete! - Rachel and Oren

First of all, Gert and Dulce are the sweetest hosts! They would really take care of you. We were there on our honeymoon, for 4 nights. The location is near the cabarete town - car/taxi needed. Sometomes it could be a little annoying to have to drive everywhere just to get from the mansion. The mansion is right on the beach, but it's not "swimming friendly" because of the hight waves - so we drove to sosua beach (perfect) - 15 min driving. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We would recommend you to buy some groceries and to cook - to save some money, because everything is kind of expansive. Tip: make sure you get the right address, because waze got us to a wrong one.

I stayed at Brisas Doradas at the end of March-beginning of April, and have to admit, had a wonderful stay: Gert and Dulce were forthcoming in any way, from washing my clothes to cooking my meals--and everything in between. If you go there, ask Dulce to prepare any of the Dominican dishes with her special coconut secret sauce... you'll be licking all 10 fingers! Gert was super nice to pick me up from the airport (for free), and was helpful in any manner, whatever I needed. Away from the noisy Cabarete cente (yet minutes away), with a "private" beach in front of the villa. Absolutely worth every penny--I will definitely visit again.
