We ate at the restaurant several times during our stay in Baharona. The food was outstanding. The service was very good as well. We kept going back because we enjoyed it so much. The view was wonderful and the breeze refreshing.

If you want top shelf service without being in a busy and loud all-inclusive, this is the place. Small, quaint, quiet, tucked away in the mountains, with an awesome view of the beach, this place has top shelf food and spa. It is hard to find super clean in Baharona and this place is it. I have a place in... More

We had a pleasant three-day stay at the Casa Bonita. Service was generally good. We asked for a couple of small things to be done in the room but they were not done until we reminded them again. They took care of them and we were appreciative of the apology. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The quality of... More

Oustanding! The place is peaceful and gorgeous. The attention of the staff is superior to many 5 star hotels. Everyone caters to your every whim, always with a smile. The food is fabulous, the right seasoning and the right amount. A hidden paradise to those that want to disconnect from stress and find the beauty of nature.

Casa Bonita is a beautiful paradise! If you need peace, relaxation, calm music, personalized service this is your place. A combination of nature and great service. The rooms are very comfortable. The swimming pool just perfect to swim, read, take a nap... I've visited the hotel twice and I would go back if could.

First things first, how to get there from Santo Domingo airport? Eschewing the $280 transfer that the hotel can organize which seems a lot for peace-of-mind, we tried first to get an Uber. However, whilst Uber does operate in the DR, it appears that it’s still in its infancy and lacks the critical mass of drivers to make it really... More

This property is so beautiful! The rooms are well appointed and very clean, activities were a lot of fun, and the spa is amazing. It is definitely a trek to get out to this location, but the peaceful atmosphere and lack of other tourists make it completely worth it. Make sure you get local currency at the airport before you... The journey to Barahona is definitely worth taking to spend some time at Casa Bonita. Set amongst the mountains with spectacular ocean views, the resort is both intimate and incredibly beautiful. Each of the cabanas is designed to make the most of these views from their balconies and none are overlooked. The new manager, Amy, was kind enough to give... More
