Nice updated room for 510 pesos. Stone shower, flat screen, free WiFi (that is strong). Central location so the drawback is it's a little noisy. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful, 24hr reception with security at night.

We landed at the Chetumal airport at 9:15 pm and immediately caught a taxi to this hotel, having made a reservation online prior to starting our trip. The hotel is convenient to the airport, being located jusr a few miles from the terminal in El Centro, near the Mercado Viejo (one of several municipal markets) and a bus station. Our... More

I stayed here for five nights in early January. I was pleasantly surprised to have a newly renovated room. Great bathroom, shower, etc. I'll ad photos soon. The other reviewers noticed hallway noise traveling through the windows. I picked up on this a little but it wasn't a problem. The owner and her son are from California and were extremely helpful.... More

Nothing much to say except it was a cheap, basic room, enough for one nights stay. The staff have very limited English and my Spanish was just as good so conversation/ asking questions was challenging- all part of the fun ;-) did get free continental breakfast though which is always a bonus- bread, jam and butter. Not much to do here,... More

From the outside, the hotel gives a bad impression and appears to be uncomfortable. However, the rooms were actually pretty good for the price. The service was very dry. The main problem was that the rooms had windows to the hallways, and they did not block noise at all. We had a bad sleep because of the constant movement in... More

Ok so my stay was a while ago but seeing as somehow this place has some decent reviews I feel the need to share my experience. We arrived at this hotel to find no electricity, and no windows in the room, at least not ones that open. The room was like a prison cell, 2 beds, old CRT TV and... More

Good: 1.Can't beat the central location to the old market "mercado viejo". If you'd like to go elsewhere, the taxi station is literally right infront of the hotel. 2. Reception staff is nice and helpful, the rest of staff too. 3. We got tickets for complimentary coffee when we checked in for to get in the morning. 4. Rooms are... More

The first time I visited this hotel it was at a reasonable price. Afterwards the price went up and the service was bad. A.c didn't work properly, the room smelled of smoke, and the receptionist (female) had a bad attitude the whole time I was there. It is a good location to be in but many hotels to choose from... You can't do better for the price. Located across the street from the huge building where you can buy everything from food to clothing to jewelry. Entertainment and dinning are a short taxi ride away. There are plenty of taxis around the hotel. Staff is courteous and there's one gentleman who speaks perfect english. He is the grandson of the original... More
