We stayed 2 nights. When we checked out at about noon, we left a small piece of luggage with the reception desk with a small laptop computer inside wrapped in a nightgown. We came back at about 5 pm and picked it up. When we looked inside a bit later (on the bus to Mexico City) the laptop was gone and the contents had obviously been gone through. We called the El Dorado on our cell and they said they had no idea what we were talking about. I thought it might be a language problem so upon arrival in Mexico City I asked the reception at our hotel to call for us. The El Dorado refused to acknowledge any responsibility or respond in any way.
Other than that, the room was airless and stuffy. We needed to leave the door open a bit all night to breath at all. One night they had a loud party with music full blast in the downstairs restaurant that lasted to 3:30 am. More
