The decor of the rooms is much nicer than suggested by the exterior and lobby of this hotel. Unfortunately our room, while nice, had one tiny window. Others in our tour did have large windows from which to admire the colorful houses that seem to go on forever. Quiet and comfortable. Included breakfast was good. Dinner was oddly American buffet fare.
We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed all the comforts it offered. We had a comfortable king size bed, there was a nice bathroom, a good TV and a helpful staff. We were also able to park underneath the hotel, very convenient for our rental car! There was an elevator which we needed to help us move our many suitcases.
My husband and I went to visit Teotihuacan in July and stayed at Mission Express. The service was superb and the hotel manager Carlis went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, comfortable. Highly recommended.
We got two large rooms on a top floor. We could hear the street noise.Very nice staff. It is close to the main plaza and the few restaurants in that area. Breakfast was fine with several choices. Recommended if you are in Pachuca for business or just visiting.
The hotel is located a five minute walk from the central square (Reloj) but in a quieter area which was nice. Very large, clean rooms. Good hot water in the bathroom. Complementary bottled water provided. Very good buffet breakfast. Great price. Would definitely stay here again.
I was initially disappointed that those arranging my itinerary booked me here instead of the Hotel Emily - which I'd heard was the best in town - but in the end I couldn't have been more pleased. All the staff were friendly and efficient, the room and bathroom were large, very clean and well designed. Breakfast was simple, well prepared and tasty. All I could ask for. I'd happily stay again.
The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful. I was there for work, and they personally chauffeured our staff to and from FedEx to make sure our conference materials made it back safely. They also helped us with navigation and recommendations for small side trips. Very friendly!
Even though the area is not that nice, the hotel is a very fine choice if you want to stay in Pachuca and get to know the surrounding magic towns. Very warm and helpful staff. Downtown is walkable. The facilities are clean and tidy.
Wonderful friendly staff both in reception and elsewhere in the Hotel. Booked for 3 nights and stayed 8. Best rooms anywhere we have stayed, very big and spotless. Good breakfast, and for the last few days, they cooked eggs specially for us.
While only one night at this hotel, I was satisfied with the reception. But more so when the sofa bed was totally bowed (the third bed to accommodate 3). When going out for a smoke, I brought this to the attention of the front desk. As soon as I finished my smoke, returned to the room, a firm, different, bed was in place. In a nut shell, the manager was in everything and ready to please. I would definitely plan my next tour/trip with the Sofia Express being my mainstay. About an hour away from Mexico City, and many other natural wonders near by. Like Huasca, Monte del Real, Prismas Balsaticas, Hacienda de Santa Maria Regla, thermal springs of Tolantongo, are a definite "MUST SEE".
