Pleasant weekend stay at Hotel Gamma Pachuca, where we receive attentions since our arrival.

Outside of the restaurant service and room service, our stay was satisfactory, in general the facilities are in very good condition, clean, the indoor pool is a plus, although it would have been better if the water temperature was warmer, because It was cold, the attention of the staff takes the cake, everyone was very friendly, however the but was in the food, without seasoning, cold incomplete in short, there was always some detail that made the meal or breakfast a bad experience. I hope things improve because although we were only here at Gamma Pachuca for a couple of days. We have a reservation for 15 days at the Gamma Cd. Juárez, where we will spend Christmas. I hope our stay is better there than in Pachuca.

Central, family-run hotel, very pleasant with well-kept areas.
Well prepared food, with good seasoning and mainly the unparalleled attention of Mr. Gabriel.
Comfortable rooms and very well-kept areas by Mrs. Martha and Lorenza; In the rooms, the beds are high and make getting up and down a little difficult for older adults and children.
Likewise there is no ramp or elevator for the first floor rooms.

Everything is very different from the photos on the internet, the hotel is very neglected.
The room is quite spacious and comfortable but I had 2 inconveniences that spoiled my stay.
1. The pool was disgusting, I don't know how a chain hotel can allow that.
2. On my second day of stay I left early and when I returned at 5pm my room was not made up, and at reception they only said it was because they had had a lot of work.

Bad service, terrible concierge, zero flexibility, they make you feel like they are doing you a favor in everything you do, except the restaurant has good service although the food is very average and even of poor quality. A very high cost for outdated facilities and amenities. For those prices you can aspire to a four-star range. We tried it twice and it only served to confirm that we should not return. I consider as a conclusion that it is a hotel where you stay out of necessity (regarding the location or why your company sends you there).
In other eventualities: the bathroom smells a lot like drainage and they even have a lid so that the smell doesn't come out as much, they didn't answer two calls for room service and I had to go to the restaurant.

From the entrance super accessible, we were not kept waiting with our Reservation, immediately gave us the room, cleaning 10 attention 10. Hugo very friendly and helpful with our luggage. It should be mentioned that in the room there is space with work desk and coffee machine good detail.

I'm cheap. Not frugal, not economical, not one with a good eye for a bargain...I'm cheap. The goods have to match the price and the price has to be low. It works for Wal Mart doesn't it?
The Fiesta Inn is a good hotel. I stayed at 2 others in Pachuca in the month...Holiday Inn (a sad, sad place) and another that I can't remember the name. The Fiesta came highly recommended by TA. So we checked in.
The posted price of over $2100 pesos was laughable. The nice lady, without any prompting offerred $1,000 off before I could issue even a giggle at that posted price. I keep an inventory of great Mexican hotels, usually in smaller cities and towns that have everything any mortal travel could possibly want at $300 to $500 pesos/night. Paying anything over $1000/night is simply not in any of my chromosomes while in Mx.
But the Fiesta is worth it if you don't have the time or ability to search out the other $500 peso gems. The restaurant is open at 6 AM!! That's nearly unheard of in Mx! And the buffet is great. Parking may be a bit sketchy as I parked in the open lot beside the office. I guess they have a night watchman(?). The pool looked great and was warm.
The whole stay was good. The bill was right for the place and the level of service. But I'm still looking for that gem in Pachuca that has all the stuff but at a sub $1200 price. Please let me know if you find one!

Took off one star only because my room smelled like it may have been recently painted and needed some air. Staff was great, breakfast was nice. Very helpful to people who spoke little or no Spanish. Everything looked very clean.
